    Abstract: Disclosed is a cartridge holder comprising a base including provision for attaching the holder to a stock of a firearm. The base includes at least one aperture for accommodating a cartridge, and includes a metal structure facilitating easy removal of the cartridge from the aperture, the cartridge having a shell portion and a head portion. A cover is associated with the base for covering at least a portion of the shell portion, and is moveable to permit selective removal of the cartridge.
