Abstract: An accommodating head for a tool which has an actuating tip and is intended for turning fastening elements, the tool having a drive element and an output element, it being possible for a torque to be introduced into the drive element and the tool being arranged in a rotationally fixed and pivotably mounted manner in the output element. In torque transmission from the actuating tip to the fastening element, the distance between the pivot axis of the actuating tip of the tool and the fastening element is small enough for the line of action of a force running along a longitudinal center axis of the output element to intersect the fastening element even in each pivoting end position of the tool and the actuating tip thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to an actuating tool for a fastener having an internal polygon arrangement, particularly a screw, with a tool head having an external polygon arrangement to fit into this internal polygon arrangement, wherein the tool head has a circumferential recess to receive a spring washer. It is provided that the width of the recess (17) is greater than the dimension of the spring washer (21) measured in the direction of the width, and the spring washer (21) is elastically supported at least in partial areas against the sidewalls (41, 43) of the recess (17).
Abstract: A chuck is provided for receiving and holding inserts having a non-circular shaft. The chuck includes a body having a non-circular cavity, and a capping sleeve rotatable on the body and extending beyond an end of the body. A locking plate is provided in the portion of the capping sleeve which extends beyond the end of the body, the locking plate having a non-circular opening with a profile corresponding to the profile of the cavity. The capping sleeve may be rotated relative to the body to the place the profile of the locking plate selectively in registry, or not, with the profile of the cavity.
