    Abstract: A guitar stand has a main body or base which forms an interior cavity. An adjustably extendable elongated neck member carrying a 270-degree pivotable yoke, for supporting the neck of a guitar, is mounted into the cavity. The base includes substantially L-shaped extensions forming channels into which foldably extendable legs are mounted. The legs are substantially concealed and non-obtrusive when they are folded away into the channels, as for transportation or storage.
