Abstract: A venue includes an exterior structure having a spherical-like shape, a theater area inside the exterior structure, an audience seating area positioned in the theater area, a first plurality of light-emitting diodes, and a second plurality of light-emitting diodes. The theater area includes an interior curved surface. The audience seating area has a plurality of levels of seating. The first plurality of light-emitting diodes are positioned to facilitate providing a first display along the interior curved surface and in front of, to the side, above, and behind at least a portion of the audience seating area, and a second plurality of light-emitting diodes positioned to facilitate providing a second display around at least a majority of the spherical-like shape of the exterior structure.
Abstract: A venue includes an exterior structure, a theater area inside the exterior structure, an audience seating area positioned in the theater area and facing the stage, and a mezzanine area positioned inside the exterior structure, outside of the theater area, and at least partially beneath the audience seating area. The theater area includes an interior surface that provides or supports a display. The display is an immersive display that extends along the interior surface such that the display is positioned in front of, to the sides, above, and behind at least a portion of the audience seating area.
Abstract: A venue includes a display screen, a performance stage, and an audience area. The display screen has (i) an inner periphery, (ii) an outer periphery, and (iii) at least one of a non-linear or a curved cross-sectional shape that is at least partially revolved around a center point. The performance stage (i) is positioned between the inner periphery and the outer periphery of the display screen and (ii) at least partially extends along at least one of the inner periphery or the outer periphery of the display screen. The audience area is positioned between the inner periphery and the outer periphery of the display screen.

Abstract: Sound control and audio output systems and methods for an entertainment venue are described. The sound control and audio output systems include an in-seat speaker arrangement. The in-seat speaker arrangement includes a theater chair having a back section and a seat section, one or more top speakers arranged around a headrest area of the back section of the theater chair, and a lower speaker disposed within the seat section of the theater chair.
Abstract: A theater area includes audience seating that faces outwardly in an “inverted-theater-in-the-round” arrangement towards a ring-shaped performance stage. The performance stage is designed to rotate around the audience area so that each section of the audience can see each part of the stage at different times.
