Patents Assigned to Wilson Pharmaceutical & Chemical Corporation
  • Patent number: 3979507
Abstract: A system is provided for the detection and identification of a diseased or impaired organ in a patient through detection and measurement in the patient's blood, or other body fluid specimen, of an antigen which is normally present in healthy organs of the same kind and normally not present in the blood of a healthy person. The system includes a method for producing and purifying an antibody to the antigen, and for utilizing the antibody to detect and measure an antigen in the patient's blood.

  • Patent number: 3956483
Abstract: The invention deals with compositions having utility as digestive aids. Such compositions can be produced in a dry powder form, with amylotic and lipolytic activity in addition to the proteolytic activity normally present and with harmful bacteria eliminated therefrom by treating comminuted pancreas with aqueous medium containing calcium sulfate or calcium acetate, adding a proteolytic enzyme activator and after a period required for enzyme activation, dehydrating the mixture at temperatures which will inactivate pathogenic bacteria.

  • Patent number: 3954725
Abstract: An acyl amide product of reaction of polypeptides useful in cosmetics such as hair sprays because it is alcohol soluble and forms continuous films which are insoluble in water of neutral or acidic pH, is prepared by hydrolyzing proteins with either alkali metal hydroxides or calcium hodroxide mixture, bonding to the hydrolyzate an acyl radical selected from the group consisting of 12, 14, 16 and 18 carbon atoms through amide linkages to produce reaction products of for example, alkali metal hydrolyzates, the reaction products of the respective acyl radicals having an average total molecular weight in the ranges of 433 to 583; 386 to 486; 389 to 489; and 392 to 467.
