    Abstract: An antenna, particularly a mobile telephone antenna mounted onto the window of a motor vehicle. The antenna comprises a H-shaped ground plane turned to the horizontal plane and a vertical radiator essentially perpendicular to it and mounted at a distance from it. On each side of the vertical radiator there is at least one shadow element parallel to the vertical radiator, the said shadow elements being used to adjust the antenna's impedance to the impedance of the connecting cable to be used.
