    Abstract: Table with a top which can pivot around a lockable pivot axis characterized in that each of two centrally located table legs is connected at the top end by a mounting assembly to a frame part, which carries the table top. A force-transmitting device is provided in at least one of the frame parts. A handle is connected to the force-transmitting device, and the pivot axis can be released by actuating the handle against the force of at least one spring to allow the table top to pivot.
