Abstract: A social media workflow application includes a social media search component executable by a computing system, a tagging system for annotating search results with textual tags, and a user interface enabling the display of filtered results based on tag, and potentially other, criteria. The new invention is a system to automate tagging and other actions, and the use of such automation to provide a flexible semi-automated workflow tool for the improved use of social media, with particular relevance for marketing and public communications business functions.
