Abstract: Reversible mounting systems offering mechanical support and electrical connections for light fixtures include a fixed, hard-wired portion that is typically installed on a wall or ceiling; and a connecting element configured to engage the fixed portion and to connect electrically thereto when so engaged. The connecting element may further include a light fixture or a flexible conducting cable to interconnect the connecting element and a remotely-located, suspended light fixture. Other features and characteristics are described and claimed.
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods to secure wires and prevent wire theft. In an exemplary embodiment of a system of the present disclosure, the system comprises a wire grip portion comprising a compressible material and having a first aperture and a first groove defined therein, the first groove extending from an outer boundary of the wire grip portion to the first aperture, a collar configured to surround the outer boundary of the wire grip portion, and a first locking mechanism coupled to or formed as part of the collar, the first locking mechanism configured so to tighten the collar relative to the wire grip portion.
Abstract: System and method for facilitating a windowed content manifestation environment within a world wide web (WWW) browser client. The system and method include and involve a server system that is configured to serve a software system and associated content via an electronic data network such as the Internet and WWW. Also included and involved is a web browser client (web browser software application) operating within a data processing system that is coupled to said server system via the electronic data network and which instantiates a content manifestation environment (e.g., a dynamic screen display environment within the data processing system). The web browser client is operative to receive the software system and the associated content via the server system, to process the software system and the associated content to produce at least one window object within the content manifestation environment.
Abstract: A network client configured to operate within a data processing system and to receive content from a remote server system to facilitate a windowed content manifestation environment. The network client includes and involves a content retrieval module configured to receive content from a network server system via an electronic data network, and a processing engine coupled to the content retrieval module configured to operate a content manifestation environment within the data processing system, and to process the content to produce at least one window object within the content manifestation environment. The window object is configured to manifest at least a portion of the content therein. The window object corresponds to at least one executable program object and is controlled by the processing engine without requiring the content manifestation environment to be refreshed.
Abstract: System and method for providing a dynamic advertising content manifestation window within a windows based content manifestation environment provided within a web browser. The system and method include and involve an server system configured to transmit a software system and data related to a advertising content source via an electronic data network. Also included and involved is a web browser client operating within a data processing system that is coupled to the server system via the electronic data network. The web browser provides a content manifestation environment. The web browser client is operative to receive the software system and the data via the server system, to process the software system and the data to produce a window object within the content manifestation environment provided by the web browser client. The window object is configured to dynamically manifest therein advertising content received from the advertising content source in accordance with the data.
