Abstract: An apparatus that includes an elastic sleeve; an integrally formed top cover that completely (or at least substantially completely) covers one end of the elastic sleeve; an integrally formed elongated clamp feature that extends outward from across a top surface of the top cover, wherein the elongated clamp feature has a C-shaped cross section; an integrally formed elongated strap that is connected at a proximal end to an edge of top cover and that has an elastic loop formed at a distal end of the elongated strap.

Abstract: A male-type terminal end portion comprising a relatively thin, flat metal strip having two sides and a proximal end and a plurality of longitudinally spaced apart indentations extending along the longitudinal axis to the proximal end. The indentations have a preselected depth to thus form an effective thickness equal to the sum of the preselected depth and preselected thickness of the metal strip.

Abstract: A removable end plug for closing off the open end of a hollow vehicle bumper. The end plug comprises a molded unitary body of flexible deformable material having four side sections in the form of a hollow square and a four sided truncated pyramid shaped operator portion connected to one transverse edge of the side sections. The operator portion has a normal position whereat the truncated pyramid extends longitudinally away from the bumper opening and a reverse truncated pyramid position to cause said side sections to be bowed transversely outwardly and thereby substantially increase the force of engagement between the outer surfaces of said side sections and the four inside surfaces of the bumper to thereby lock the plug to the bumper.
