The method comprises providing a conversion circuit fixated in proximity to a service providing system and having a client side communication unit and a system side communication unit, intercepting, using the client side communication unit, a first wireless data message having service related content encoded according to a first communication protocol, generating, using the system side communication unit, a second wireless data message having the service related content encoded according to a second communication protocol, and transmitting, using the system side communication unit, the second wireless data message to the service providing system.

Abstract: A method of detecting a proximity to a target device. The method comprises scanning a wireless network frequency band in a personal mobile device to discover at least one wireless network signal, triggering, in response to a discovery of the at least one wireless network signal, a magnetic field scan of a magnetometer operated by the personal mobile device, detecting, in the personal mobile device, according to the magnetic field scan, a presence or an absence of a magnetic field signature associated with a predefined proximity to a target device.

Abstract: An electronic card connectable to a client terminal via a memory card reader slot. The electronic card comprises a card interface having at least one power supply pin set to be connected to at least one source terminal in an electronic card reader slot of a client terminal, a wireless communication unit electronically wired to be powered via the at least one power supply pin, and a signal encoder which operates the wireless communication unit to transmit a presence signal containing a unique identifier (ID) independently from any computational operation of the client terminal.

Abstract: A computerized method of identifying a location of mobile client terminals. The method comprises providing to a mobile client terminal a mapping dataset which defines a plurality of physical locations of a plurality of beacon devices, receiving at the mobile client terminal at least one distinct signal transmitted from at least one of the plurality of beacon devices, extracting from each of the at least one distinct signal an identifier of a beacon device of the plurality of beacon devices, matching between the identifier and one of the plurality of physical locations using the mapping dataset, and identifying a location of the mobile client according to the matching.
