Abstract: A lawn aerator with a roller mounted in a rotatable manner in a chassis. The roller is formed by disks that are joined together and have radial recesses in which aerator elements are anchored. The aerator elements have radially projecting, elastic wire spring arms. In an interanchorage region the wire spring arms have a coil made up of a plurality of turns and an extension. The recesses further contain carrier stubs that run in an axis-parallel manner and on which the coils of the spring arms are positioned. The extensions of the spring arms are supported in a form-fitting manner in the stressing direction within the recesses. The extensions of two of the spring arms are combined to give an elastic connecting clip and form a pair of spring arms in each case. In the recesses, in each two carrier stubs are arranged axially opposite one another with a spacing between them such that the coils of the pair of springs can be inserted therebetween and spread apart onto the opposite carrier stubs.

Abstract: Shears having a locking mechanism which ensures self-locking closure without any light gap. A tumbler (24) on one limb of the shears pivoted by a slide button (22) has a cam surface (34) interacting in a self-locking manner with a catch groove (28) on a cam surface (32) on the other limb (14). The catch groove (28) can have a larger configuration in the direction of closure. An arched cam surface may also be provided, which is eccentrically located in relation to the pivoting axis of the tumbler. A fine locking device (50) for the slide button may be provided so the slide button can be fixed in different closed positions to prevent unintentional closure in the open position.

Abstract: An anvil of a set of secateurs can be displaced in relation to a supporting limb on a swivel axis to permit alignment of the anvil with an edge of a cooperative cutting blade. A bolt and nut are arranged in a hole of the secateur limb to prevent rotation of the nut. The bolt and/or nut has an annular blade facing towards the anvil. The annular blade becomes embedded in the anvil as the bolt is screwed into the nut, thereby forming a positive fit. The bolt shaft is guided through an arched slit in the anvil that extends concentrically in relation to a swivel axis about which the anvil pivots during adjustment. The anvil pivot angle is approximately 2°.

Abstract: A plurality of modular-construction hand-operated motorized devices, including a lawn mower, a verticutting implement, a sweeping device, and a device for loosening the soil or taking in and blowing out leaves are disclosed. Each device includes a limited number of differently designed and dimensioned main and additional modules which provide for a wide range of individually adapted types of devices to be constructed.

Abstract: A screw-locking device which is suitable, in particular, for pruning shears includes a catch disk having a toothed rim with axially directed teeth and a spring collar whose teeth are formed by individual webs which extend freely between an inner ring and an outer ring of the collar. These webs have a catch of V-shaped cross section for the engagement of the teeth of the catch disk, one tooth of the catch disk lying in the clearance space of the spring collar, and the adjacent teeth engaging in the V-shaped recesses of the radial webs. According to a further refinement, the tooth webs may be provided with lateral inclined contact surfaces. The spring collar has projecting lugs on the side opposite the tooth system.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pull grip which can be attached to any place on a pull rope in order to operate the cutting tools via the pull rope in a convenient position which is ergonometrically favorable. The pull grip is in this connection guided by a passage hole on the pull rope and can be clamped by oblique pull by clamping ribs which are arranged within an angular segment recess. In order to facilitate the elimination of the clamping of the rope, a release device in the form of a release sleeve provided with handle can be provided which guides the pull rope and is displaceable within the passage hole or a bearing sleeve adjoining same into the angular segment recess in order to lift the rope out of the clamping ribs.
