Abstract: A combination adjustable height bearing stand and roller platform assembly is provided which can be fixed at a pre-adjusted height. The combination bearing stand and roller assembly includes two pairs of legs with each pair of legs being pivotally connected together at a joint connection so that the legs can be brought from a parallel position used for storage to an angled position. The corresponding legs of the two pairs of legs are connected by cross-connectors. The legs are tubular and one leg of each pair of legs receives a height-adjustable support which can be secured at a pre-selected height by a fixing element. The top ends of the height-adjustable support are connected to fastening elements which, in turn, are pivotally connected to two carriers which support the plurality of rollers of the roller platform assembly. Both the platform and bearing stand legs are pivotable between a collapsed and parallel storage position to an angled and horizontal position respectively using a single motion.
Abstract: An improved drill stand is provided which includes a stand column slidably connected to a bearer unit so that the position or height of the bearer unit with respect to the stand column may be adjusted. The bearer unit includes a gear segment which is biased toward the retracted position by a reset spring. The gear segment is meshed with a geared slide rod. The geared slide rod may be disposed parallel to or perpendicular to the stand column. The slide rod is connected to a machine receiving part. Rotation of the gear segment with respect to the bearer unit against the bias of the reset spring results in movement of the slide rod in the machine receiving part towards an extended position. The machine receiving part is also connected to a bit stop rail. The bit stop rail is connected to a bit stop. The position of the bit stop along the bit stop rail is also adjustable. Movement of the machine receiving part towards the extended position is limited by engagement of the bit stop with the bearer unit.

Abstract: Spring-tension pliers are disclosed having two clamping arms (2, 3) mounted see-saw fashion on a pivot pin (1), the arms forming a handle (4) with their legs, the legs being pivotable toward one another against the force of a spring (5) to open a clamping mouth formed by the other ends of the legs (6), with clamping jaws (7) being associated with the free ends of the clamping legs (6). The clamping jaws (7) are pivotable around a pivot axis (8') parallel to the pivot joint axis, end sections (9) of the clamping legs are rounded concentrically with respect to jaw pivot axis (8'), and these rounded areas (11) each fit into a correspondingly rounded recess (10) of the clamping jaws.
Abstract: A Forstner bit including a cutter having radial major cutting edges, circumferential cutting edges and a shank adapted to be clamped in a chuck. The cutter is threadably attached to the shank by a rear stem of the cutter being accommodated in a threaded hole provided in the shank. The cutter is formed as a monolithic casting fashioned of a precision-casting steel alloy, with the cutter being subjected to additional grinding only along the major cutting edges and the circumferential cutting edges.
Abstract: A device for cutting truncated dowels from a board, with a device including a one-piece cutting body shaped as a hollow cylinder and having a concentric clamping shank. The cutting body is provided with only one recess which forms a knife edge, with the recess opening toward a front of a cutting body and merging into a wider dowel ejection opening. The cutting body has an inside annular cutting edge which determines the larger outside diameter of the truncated dowel to be cut and from which the knife edge originates. The inside circumferential surface of the jacket tapers conically toward the clamping shank, and the knife edge is inclined obliquely inwardly in accordance with the conicity of the inside circumferential surface.
Abstract: A working table fashioned as a clamping table includes a top frame supported by legs, with two plate-shaped clamping jaws or worktable portions being supported on mutually disposed frame members. One of the clamping jaws is adjustable with respect to the other clamping jaw by two adjusting spindles disposed in the frame members. To enable a more rapid clamping, provision is made that the other jaw is displaceably guided along the frame member and is equipped with locking pawls engaging locking holes provided in the frame member. The locking pawls are adapted to be lifted out of the locking holes by actuating members and are also lockable in an unlocked position.
Abstract: A device for applying glue to slit-shaped grooves in a workpiece, with the grooves serving to receive lamellar dowels. The device includes a glue supply container with a glue nozzle and, in order to permit an application of glue that is uniform and precisely metered throughout the groove, the glue nozzle has a flat mouthpiece insertable into the slit-shaped grooves, with the mouthpiece having a central glue passageway and being provided at its two wide sides with recesses in which the glue passageway terminates through lateral branches.
