Abstract: A user interface (e.g., a computer-executed software program) is provided for interacting with an artificial intelligence (AI) processing system. The user interface allows a user to enter into a document user input, submit the user input to the AI processing system, and display within the document results received from the AI processing system. Thus, the user interface records an interaction and/or a processing history with the AI processing system. Additionally, the user interface provides mechanisms that permit a user to edit contents of the document and thus edit the interaction/processing history. The user interface allows the user to submit the edited interaction/processing history to the AI processing system to prompt the AI processing system to generate additional results. The user input received and stored in the document by the notebook interface optionally may include one or more of text, numerical data, mathematical formulae, computer software code, images.
