Abstract: A computer-implemnented method to optimize the performance of a health care system, comprising creating a 3-dimensional Healthcare Adaptive Cycle space defined by a Potential dimension, a Connectness dimension, and a Resilience dimension, wherein the Healthcare Adaptive Cycle comprises a K region, a ? region, an a region, a r region, a backloop transition zone from said ? region to said a region, and a front loop transition zone from said r region to said K region. The method then determines at a first time a first location for the healthcare organization within said Healthcare Adaptive Cycle, and visually displays the 3-dimensional Healthcare Adaptive Cycle space and the first location.
