Abstract: Provided is a touch panel having a curved surface. A touch panel 10 is formed of a sheet of a flat sheet 1 by thermoforming. A plurality of island-like electrodes 2,3 is arrayed in each of an X direction and a Y direction on the input region. The island-like electrodes 2, 3, inter-electrode wires 4, and a lead wiring are formed of a ductile wire material. A center portion of the flat sheet 1 is formed into a convex dome shape by thermoforming. The touch panel 10 includes a first input region 11 and a second input region 12. The first input region 11 is provided on the convex dome shape. The second input region 12 is provided on the flat surface (zero curvature). The first input region 11 is provided at around a center on the inside of the second input region 12.

Abstract: A mesoscopic solar cell, including: a conductive substrate, a hole blocking layer, a mesoporous nanocrystalline layer, an insulation separating layer, and a hole collecting layer, and perovskite light absorption materials. The hole blocking layer, the mesoporous nanocrystalline layer, the insulation separating layer, and the hole collecting layer are sequentially laminated on the conductive substrate. Abstract: A case for tobacco and other smokable products is provided. The case may include a body which defines an elongated cavity. The elongated cavity may extends lengthwise into the body from an opening at a top surface of the body. The body may include a power source, an electric heating element disposed at a bottom of the elongated cavity, and a user interface element at the top surface. The user interface element may be configured to selectively cause the power source to activate the electric heating element. The case may also include a top which may be hingedly coupled with the body at an edge of the top surface such that when the top is rotated to a closed position the top surface of the body is inaccessible to a user, and when the top is rotated to an open position the top surface is accessible to the user.

Abstract: The present invention relates to formulations of volatile organic compounds having effects on the navel orangeworm moth (NOW). Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a touch panel. A laminated film is used. The laminated film comprises a resin layer, a protection film-constituent material layer provided on a surface of the resin layer, and a releasing layer provided on a surface of the protection film-constituent material layer. The protection film-constituent material layer is a layer containing fluorine-based substances. The releasing layer is a layer made by using a fluorine-based resin. The method comprises a molding process, a hardening treatment process for providing hardening treatment to the protection film-constituent material layer after the molding process, and a removal process for removing the releasing layer after the molding process. The protection film-constituent material layer is an uncured layer in the course of a molding process.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, composition and product by process of pomegranate seed oil. The present invention provides a novel method for the preparation of pomegranate seeds and the subsequent extraction, stabilization and deodorization of pomegranate seed oil. The process maintains key beneficial components of pomegranate seed oil. Effective processing parameters for separating, drying, cleaning, flaking, obtaining the oil from seeds, stabilizing through refining and bleaching and deodorizing the oil are described.

Abstract: A method of increasing a prostate specific antigen (PSA) doubling time in treating a patient. A subject with rising serum PSA is selected. A composition is administered to the subject comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a pomegranate extract comprising a higher content of high molecular weight polyphenol compared to pomegranate juice from arils. The therapeutically effective amount increases a prostate specific antigen doubling time. The pomegranate extract is formed from an insoluble byproduct component obtained by placing pomegranate solids in an aqueous solution, heating the aqueous solution to between about 60° F. to about 210° F., adding at least one enzyme to the aqueous solution, and removing residual insoluble solid materials from the aqueous solution.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of pistachio tree characterized by producing large leaves, reddish-green new foliage, and dark green mature foliage. The new variety is useful as a rootstock for commercial nut bearing pistachio varieties.
