Abstract: A folding device is configured at the pivot between the rear leg frame and the front leg frame of a high chair and allows a user to complete folding process by pressing a driving member. When the driving member is pressed, an engaging member of the folding device moves correspondingly to an unlocked position, so that the rear leg frame disengages from and pivots about the front leg frame. The high chair can then be folded easily for the user, and the structure of the invention is simpler than the prior art.

Abstract: A modular organizer is capable of attachment to a rod of a playpen or crib, and includes first and second storage members that are connected removably to each other. Each of the first and second storage members is attached to the rod by a positioning element. Preferably, one or more third storage members are disposed between and connected removably to the first and second storage members. The third storage members can be interconnected removably to one another and to the first and second storage members.

Abstract: A foldable rocking chair includes a base having a curved rocking portion, a first adjustment rod pivotally connected to the base, a seat having a front end pivotally connected to a front end of the base, a second adjustment rod pivotally connected to the seat, and a folding joint for interconnecting the first and second adjustment rods. The seat is adjustable relative to the base between a fully unfolded position and a folded position. The folding joint is constructed so as to allow pivoting movement of the seat from the folded position to the fully unfolded position, while preventing pivoting movement of the seat from the fully unfolded position to the folded position when no external force is applied the folding joint.

Abstract: A driving device is adapted for an infant rocking chair. The rocking chair includes a seat body and a bottom seat. The driving device includes a base, a supporting element, first and second motion mechanisms, and a power mechanism. The first motion mechanism includes a horizontal first guide path unit disposed at the bottom seat, and a first movable member disposed on the base and movable along the first guide path unit. The second motion mechanism includes a vertically varying second guide path unit disposed at the bottom seat, and a second movable member movable along the second guide path unit and vertically relative to the base. The supporting element interconnects fixedly the seat body and the second movable member. The power mechanism drives reciprocal movement of the first and second movable members.

Abstract: A playpen includes a top frame, pairs of supporting legs in which the supporting legs of each pair have top ends connected to the top frame at two spaced apart positions and bottom ends extending toward each other, and a fabric enclosure having a lower portion and an upper portion which is attached removably to the top frame. A fixing device includes a plurality of fixing plates adapted to be fixed to the fabric enclosure and each having an engaging hole, and a plurality of foot members each having top and bottom ends, a plate-receiving hole opening at the top end and extending downwardly for insertion of a corresponding fixing plate, two leg-receiving holes for insertion of the bottom ends of one pair of the supporting legs, and a tongue for engaging detachably the engaging hole disposed within the plate-receiving hole.

The driving device includes a base, a supporting element, first and second motion mechanisms, and a power mechanism. The second motion mechanism includes a vertically varying second guide path unit disposed at the bottom seat, and a second movable member movable along the second guide path unit and vertically relative to the base. Abstract: A headrest assembly is adapted to be disposed on a child seat. The child seat includes a seat frame. The headrest assembly includes a mounting member connected to the seat frame, and a headrest plate including a mounting seat attached to the mounting member and including a pair of resilient retainers connected respectively to two opposite sides of the mounting member. Each of the retainers has a plurality of positioning portions disposed respectively at different height positions. Each of the sides of the mounting member engages a selected one of the positioning portions of a corresponding one of the retainers.

Abstract: A carrying bag includes a flexible bag body that defines an accommodation space therein and that has a lower peripheral edge defining a lower access opening. A rigid base member has a periphery configured to matingly engage the lower peripheral edge, and is displaceable relative to the lower peripheral edge between a closed position to close to the lower access opening, and an open position to expose the lower access opening. The base member has holes formed therethrough to be adapted to permit a wheel and a rest of a baby playpen to extend outwardly of the base member for facilitating carrying the playpen. A blocking member is disposed to block the holes so as to permit the bag to receive any other articles.

Abstract: A top frame unit of a baby crib includes a plurality of three-way couplers and a plurality of top frame rods. Each coupler includes a root part and first, second and third tube parts that extend in different directions from the root part. The root part is formed with a cap-receiving recess that is in spatial communication with the first tube part. Each top frame rod includes a rod body that has opposite first and second rod ends, and an anchor cap that is mounted on the first rod end of the rod body. Each top frame rod is extended removably through the first tube part of one of the couplers such that the anchor cap thereof is disposed removably in the cap-receiving recess, and such that the second rod end of the rod body is extendible removably into the second tube part of another one of the couplers.

Abstract: A device for limiting swivel of a wheel of a stroller includes a fork mounted with the wheel, a swivel-limiting unit, and a quick release unit. The swivel-limiting unit includes a connecting seat adapted to be disposed fixedly on a frame unit of the stroller, a limiting seat connected fixedly to the fork, and a control member disposed on the connecting seat and operable to extend into the limiting seat so as to prevent rotation of the fork relative to the connecting seat. The quick release unit includes a base disposed fixedly on the connecting seat, and a movable member disposed movably on the base and operable to move on the base so as to allow for removal of the fork from the swivel-limiting unit.

Abstract: A brake assembly for a stroller includes left and right braking mechanisms, a connecting member, and left and right operating members interconnected to each other through the connecting member so as to move in opposite directions when operated. Each of the left and right braking mechanisms includes a first engaging member, and a second engaging member movable between engaging and disengaging positions and defining a first cam face. Each of the left and right operating members defines a second cam face which is in sliding contact with a respective first cam face so as to drive the second engaging member to move to the engaging position in an axial direction when the left operating member is operated, and so as to drive the second engaging member to move to the disengaging position when the right operating member is operated.

Abstract: A chair includes a positioning unit that is provided in a receiving portion of an armrest and that includes shorter and taller stop portions. A positioning member is retained movably on a rear side of a backrest, and has one end extending into the receiving portion to abut against a selected one of the stop portions. An operating unit is connected to and is operable to move the positioning member for selectively disengaging and engaging the stop portions. A safety mechanism is provided on the backrest and the operating unit, and is operable in either a limiting state, where the positioning member is unable to move past the taller stop portion, or a non-limiting state, where the positioning member is able to move past the taller stop portion.

Abstract: An infant seat assembly includes a seat member and a retention member. The seat member includes a seat body having a front end and left and right sides, and a pair of side panels extending respectively from the left and right sides of the seat body. The retention member includes a main section and a pair of side sections attached respectively to opposite sides of the main section. The main section has a bottom end attached to the front end of the seat body, and the side sections are further attached to the side panels, respectively. The main section of the retention member is formed with a pair of spaced-apart leg openings through which legs of an infant seated on the seat member can pass.

Abstract: A chair includes a positioning unit that is provided in a receiving portion of an armrest and that includes shorter and taller stop portions. Abstract: An attachment apparatus provides a quick connection of the hanger tubes for a child's swing seat assembly to the pivot member of a drive mechanism powering the reciproal movement of the seat assembly. The shape of the mating attachment members, including a rounded upper portion and linear side portions, provides an intuitive and effective mounting apparatus for a swing seat assembly that can be accomplished simply by sliding the hanger tubes over or into the mating receptacles. A quick disconnect device engages automatically and provides a secure connection between the hanger tube and the receptacle. Removal of the seat assembly requires only a release of the quick disconnect device and a lifting of the seat assembly from the frame apparatus. In one embodiment the linear side portions are angled into a wedge-shape to ensure proper seating and driving connection to transmit torque to the hanger tubes.

Abstract: A battery compartment is supported on the frame apparatus of a child's swing at a location that is remote from the electric motor powering the operative movement of the seat assembly. The battery compartment is located within a mounting housing mounted on a rear leg of the frame assembly where a corresponding front leg is detachably connected to the rear leg. The battery array housed in the battery compartment is connected to the remote electric motor by wiring positioned within the interior of the rear leg interconnecting the mounting housing in which the battery compartment is located and the housing in which the electric motor is located. The battery compartment is positioned below the top surface of the seat member in which an infant would be positioned and rearwardly of the seat member due to the curved configuration of the rear legs of the frame assembly.

Abstract: A head rest for a car seat used to transport a child in an automobile is positionally adjustable vertically along the seat back on which the head rest is mounted. A latching mechanism, actuated by a button at the top of the head rest, is located within the frame of the head rest and includes a releasable latch engagable with the channels slidably supporting the support rails of the head rest. A retainer clip is mounted at the top of the channels to prevent the head rest from being separated from the seat back once assembled thereon. The head rest includes a pair of laterally spaced wings that are pivotally connected to the rear support portion of the head rest to be positionally adjustable relative to the child's head through an angular displacement of approximately 45 degrees. The pivot mechanism is operable to lock the wings in the selected position.
