    Abstract: A method for capturing ancient DNA of a wooden cultural relic, sequentially includes the following steps: sampling, removing exogenous DNA contamination on the inner part and the outer surface of a sample, and effectively obtaining the ancient DNA of the wooden cultural relic through vacuum freeze-drying dehydration, sample grinding, rinsing, cell lysis, DNA genome enrichment and hybridization and capturing. The method focuses on precise capture of the ancient DNA of the wood cells of the wood cultural relic, not only breaks through the problem that effective acquisition of the DNA of the wood cultural relic is difficult to realize by a conventional wood DNA extraction method, but also provides possibility for analysis and utilization of the ancient DNA with typical characteristics of serious exogenous contamination, low DNA content, high degradation, extensive damage and the like.

    Abstract: A process for producing nano veneers generally involving: placing a veneer to be treated in a vacuum vessel; adding a nano carbon powder and nano silicon dioxide suspension in the vacuum vessel; reducing the pressure in the vessel over a first period of time; increasing the pressure in the vessel; letting the contents of the vessel rest over a second period of time. The veneer may optionally be subjected to ultrasonic treatment, ultraviolet solidification treatment, or subsequent pressurization treatments to obtain the final nano veneer product. As a result, veneer manufactured using embodiments of the present invention will have the advantages of high strength, wear resistance, pollution resistance, acid and alkali resistance, water segregation and decay resistance.

The core board is composed of ultra-thick peeling veneers with thickness of 6 to 12 mm. Both surface board and back board are made of bamboo or wood. The core board comprises several layers of the ultra-thick veneers, and the veneers of contiguous layer are assembled with parallel structure. A glue layer is arranged between contiguous veneers; adhesive in the glue layer is aqueous macromolecule isocyanate adhesive. The ultra-thick veneers of the core layer are the veneers with stress degradation treatment, i.e., punctate or line segment cracks are formed along the grain of the veneer's loose side in each layer.

    Abstract: Natural wood sandwiched engineered flooring utilizes all natural wood as the raw material which is made into several components which are combined to make this product. The components are a single or multilayer top veneer bottom or base layer and a middle layer. The four sides of the natural wood sandwiched engineered flooring strip consist of either a tongue and a groove or an interlocking system. The middle layer consists of two parallel solid wood strips, and located perpendicular to and between the parallel solid wood strips are small pieces of soft wood, which are glued together. The small soft wood pieces can be of fast growing soft wood, and as such saves treasured hardwood lumber. The production cost of the raw material is much lower than other types of engineered flooring. Further, an enhanced stabilization of the hardwood flooring is provided which is more suitable for radiant heat.
