  • Patent number: 9612141
Abstract: The present invention relates to flow measurement, and more particularly, to a system for measuring a flow rate by three-dimensionally crossing a plurality of sidings each other within a conduit. An ultrasonic flow measurement system according to the present invention determines a flow central part of fluid by three-dimensionally crossing the plurality of sidings each other within the conduit in three dimensions and calculates a flow rate flowing in the conduit, meeting the flow central part, thereby more accurately measuring the flow rate than the existing method.

  • Patent number: 9494453
Abstract: Provided is an ultrasonic sensor which includes a piezoelectric vibrator made of a lithium niobate (LN) single crystal and may be used in a high temperature region by generating a high ultrasonic wave output, and prevents cracks from being generated in the crystal. A piezoelectric vibrator 1 of the present invention has a surface (Y-axis 36° cut surface) obtained by rotating a surface orthogonal to a Y-axis of the LN crystal about an X-axis by 36°±2° as an output surface. The ultrasonic sensor further includes a retarder 3 made of titanium and a bonding layer 2 for bonding one surface of the retarder 3 to the output surface. The bonding layer 2 is made of silver and frit glass, and the frit glass has a coefficient of linear expansion ranging from 5×10?6 K?1 to 15×10?6 K?1.

  • Patent number: 5891388
Abstract: An Fe--Mn Vibration Damping alloy steel having a superior tensile strength is disclosed. The alloy steel consists of, by weight percent: 10 to 24% of Manganese(Mn); up to 0.2% of carbon(C); at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.1 to 2.0% of Titanium(Ti), 0.1 to 2.0% of Molybdenium(Mo), 0.1 to 1.0% of Vanadium(V), and 0.1 to 0.7% of Tungsten(W), the element increasing a tensile strength of the vibration damping alloy steel; and remaining iron(Fe) and incidental impurities. Further, an Fe--Mn vibration damping alloy steel having a good corrosion resistance is disclosed. The alloy steel consists of, by weight percent: 10 to 24% of Manganese(Mn); up to 0.2% of carbon(C); at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.1 to 4.5% of Chromium(Cr), 0.1 to 1.5% of Copper(Cu), and 0.1 to 1.1% of Niobium (Nb), the element increasing a corrosion resistance of the vibration damping alloy steel; and remaining iron (Fe) and incidental impurities.
