Abstract: There is provided a water level sensing apparatus including: a body disposed to be exposed within a liquid tank and having an accommodating space therein; and a capacitance detecting unit accommodated in the accommodating space of the body, wherein the capacitance detecting unit compares an upper side capacitance value and a lower side capacitance value and turns on or off an output signal. Because a changeable reference that the capacitance values of a reference surface and a detected surface of the body are simultaneously changed is used, even if the body comes in contact with moisture or debris, the reference surface and the detected surface are equally affected by the moisture or debris, thus reducing the occurrence of malfunction.
Abstract: A nozzle assembly of a toilet bidet and its control method are disclosed. The nozzle assembly includes: a cleansing nozzle with a cleansing water flow path; a dispensing tube connected with the cleansing water flow path to dispense cleansing water; an actuator including a connector coupled to the dispensing tube and a plurality of polymer driving bodies coupled to the connector, wherein an electroactive polymer is housed within the polymer driving bodies, a pair of electrodes are formed on an outer surface of the polymer driving bodies, and when voltage is selectively applied to the electrodes of each polymer driving body, the electroactive polymer moves toward one electrode to force a corresponding polymer driving body to be bent to thereby adjust a dispensing angle of the dispensing tube; and a voltage supply unit that applies voltage to the electrode of the polymer driving body.

Abstract: There is provided an air purifier having a dehumidification function, including: a body case having an inner space; a blower part installed in the inner space of the body case and drawing outside air from both sides of the body case through a single blower fan; an air purifying part purifying air drawn from one side of the body case; and a dehumidifying part removing moisture from air drawn from the other side of the body case by a dehumidifying rotor. Through the blower part drawing the air from both sides of the body case, the air purifier purifies the air drawn from one side of the body case and dehumidifies the air drawn from the other side of the body case. Accordingly, a drop in an airflow amount caused by concurrently performing the dehumidification and the purification may be alleviated, so improved dehumidification and purification effects are achieved.

Abstract: The present invention provides a deodorization module and a food waste treatment apparatus having the same. The deodorization module includes a heat exchanger and an electrolytic cell. The heat exchanger conducts heat exchange between exhaust gas discharged from a drying furnace and cooling air drawn into the heat exchanger from the outside of the drying furnace. The electrolytic cell electrolyzes condensate water, formed by the heat exchange process of the heat exchanger, using bipolar packed bed electrolysis to remove offensive odors from the condensate water. The heat exchanger has flow channels therein so that the exhaust gas discharged from the drying furnace and the cooling air drawn from the outside flows along the flow channels in directions that cross each other. The food waste treatment apparatus includes the deodorization module, an intake and exhaust module and a heat exchanger having a stacked structure.

Abstract: A rotary particle sensor assembly and an air cleaner having the rotary particle sensor assembly are disclosed. Particularly, in the present invention, regardless of the orientation of the air cleaner, the rotary particle sensor assembly can always be oriented in the direction of gravity. The rotary particle sensor assembly includes a particle sensor, which measures the pollution level of air drawn into the air cleaner. The particle sensor is supported in the air cleaner so as to be rotatable using a rotating shaft and has a weight at a predetermined position. Thus, the particle sensor can always be oriented in the direction of gravity by the weight regardless of the orientation of the air cleaner. Therefore, the present invention ensures the accuracy of measurement of the pollution level of air.
