Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for transaction document management where personnel from two sides of a business transaction involving one or more documents that constitute the transaction can interact with the system in order to automate the process of tracking executed signature pages associated with the documents. In addition, the system and method automates the tracking of exceptions to at least one of the documents and associating the exception with one or more documents comprising due diligence documents that may also reside on the system.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for comparing electronic documents that are created on different software platforms or that are in different data formats by traversing the two hierarchical representations of the documents in a manner so as to selectively ignore nodes in the hierarchy and attempt to resynchronize the sequence of traversing when nodes have no matching content.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for displaying electronic documents that are subject to approval by multiple parties. The invention presents approval by person as a separate indication on the original document. The system automatically reviews the document to determine its type and then using the type, looks up the recipient list that is associated with that type of document. The document is then transmitted to those recipients for approval.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for displaying electronic documents on remote devices and enabling collaborative editing where the system upon a request by a user to access a document, automatically determines the latest version of a document that the person had accessed and also whether a newer version had been created. The invention also merges parallel changes that have not been viewed by the user into the comparison result. The invention also includes running a comparison on the two versions and presenting the result to the user.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for determining the genealogy of versions of a document by inspection of content extracted from the document. In one embodiment, the invention extracts a set of revision identifier values from each version of a document and then applies logical rules to the extracted set of revision identifier values to determine which versions of the document are ancestors of the other versions.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for displaying electronic documents on remote devices and enabling collaborative editing in conjunction with an Entity Content Management system.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for displaying a comparison of a group of related electronic documents in order that changes generated by a comparison of last versions of the group can be automatically displayed and manipulated on a single summary output screen.

Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for displaying electronic documents on remote devices and enabling collaborative editing in conjunction with an Entity Content Management system.
Abstract: A system and method for securing documents transmitted through document sharing systems disclosed. The system and method apply security rules to an electronic document as it is being composed to ensure that the security policies have been expressed prior to the document being transmitted. The security program hooks in to the message object model so that as the message is modified, the security rules are applied to each modification.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for automatically managing the movement of document files from a first document storage sub-system to a second document storage sub-system, tracking such movement and applying security policies before the movement is completed.

Abstract: A system utilizing a remote, client device for displaying comparison of two versions of a document that utilizes a server to obtain two versions of the document and perform the comparison, and transmit back to the remote device a comparison output data in a format that utilizes an application operating on the remote device to display the comparison output result, where the remote device receives and utilizes static and dynamic resources to display the comparison output and permit a user operating the remote device to interact with the displayed comparison output.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for displaying electronic documents on remote devices and enabling collaborative editing where the system tracks revisions, comments and other content between versions of the document by maintaining hierarchical representation of the version and mapping locations between the hierarchies.

Abstract: A method and system for displaying the comparison output of two versions of a spreadsheet document such that the source formatting of the spreadsheet can be selectively suppressed to enhance the legibility of the comparison output.
Abstract: This invention discloses a novel system and method for determining the geneology of versions of a document by inspection of content extracted from the document. In one embodiment that is compatible with Microsoft™ Word ™, the invention extracts the RSID values from each version of a document and then applies logical rules to the extracted set of RSID values to determine which versions are ancestors of the other versions.
