Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for movement-based signature authentication. One method comprises determining one or more features associated with a user based on one or more two-dimensional images and determining one or more body points associated with the user based on one or more three-dimensional images. A movement pattern of each body point of the user is determined based on the one or more three-dimensional images. The one or more determined features are compared to corresponding one or more stored features associated with the user. If the one or more detected features match the one or more stored features, the one or more determined movement patterns are compared to a unique electronic signature associated with the user. Upon determining that the one or more determined movement patterns match the unique electronic signature, the user is authenticated for electronic transaction.

Abstract: Technologies for enhancing credit transactions include a point of sale computing system. The point of sale computing system receives payment vehicle data for a credit transaction associated with a purchase event. The point of sale computing system determines whether the credit transaction is an alternate routing candidate. The point of sale computing system routes an authorization request message to an issuer computing system via a payment card network in response to a determination that the credit transaction is not an alternate routing candidate. Alternatively, the point of sale computing system routes the authorization request message directly to the issuer computing system via a PIN debit network in response to a determination that the credit transaction is an alternate routing candidate. A corresponding authorization response message is received by the point of sale computing system via the payment card network or the PIN debit network. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A method for submission of payment transaction requests from a point of sale (POS) terminal to a financial institution includes reading payment information from a payment vehicle, reading financial institution routing information from the payment vehicle, reading a payment vehicle certificate from the payment vehicle, requesting consumer authentication information from a consumer, and submitting a payment transaction request to the financial institution using the financial institution routing information, a POS terminal certificate, and the payment vehicle certificate.

Abstract: A distributed enhanced payment processing system includes a merchant point of sale (POS) terminal system and a remote payment management system. The POS terminal system initiates a transaction that includes receiving a payment amount, a purchaser account identifier, a virtual electronic payment indicator, and a merchant ID via a payment client. Subsequently, the POS terminal system outputs the transaction to the remote payment management system which generates a token for the transaction. The payment management system then provides the purchaser account identifier, a merchant account identifier, and the payment amount to a remote virtual electronic payment (VEP) entity system. Upon receiving a VEP entity system response, the payment management system outputs the response and token to the POS terminal system.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for enabling the generation of a token corresponding to a tone generated by a telephony system, comprising receiving one or more dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones generated by a telephony system, generating a token based on the one or more DTMF tones; and transmitting the generated token to a merchant system.

Abstract: Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for hyperledger-based payment transactions, alerts, and dispute settlement, using smart contracts. One method includes: receiving transaction information comprising transaction data of transaction attributes for a transaction for a good or service originating at a merchant; storing the transaction data of the transaction attributes for the transaction, in a smart contract generated or updated by a smart contract application; deploying the Smart contract into one or more blockchain networks, wherein at least one of the one or more blockchain networks; performing one or more iterations of enabling, using an inter ledger protocol, to transfer at least some of the transaction data of the transaction attributes of the transaction to another of the one or more blockchain networks, wherein each of the one or more blockchain networks serves one or more business functions of the transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for tracking consumer spend behavior to predict attrition. One method includes: receiving past transaction data related to a plurality of past payment transactions of a consumer; receiving environmental and/or behavioral data associated with each of the past payment transactions of the consumer; determining a spend behavior model of the consumer; subsequent to determining the spend behavior model of the consumer, receiving transaction data related to one or more current payment transactions of the consumer; receiving environmental and/or behavioral data associated with the one or more current payment transactions; determining, based on an analysis of the current transaction data and environmental and/or behavioral data associated with each of the current payment transactions, a current spend behavior of the consumer; and determining, based on a comparison of the current spend behavior with the spend behavior model, the likelihood of an attrition of the current spend behavior.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for prepaid card funding for sponsored purchases includes receiving a payment request for funding a sponsored purchase using a payment vehicle, deducting funds from a financial account associated with the payment vehicle, such that the financial account has a negative balance, and loading additional funds into the financial account associated with the payment vehicle, such that the financial account has a zero balance.

Abstract: Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for establishing and conducting payment processing with loyalty points using distributed ledger. One method includes: receiving a consumer identification, an issuer identification, and transaction information from a point of sale system when the loyalty card is presented for a transaction of a good or service at a merchant, identifying the network node containing distributed ledger associated with the issuer according to received issuer identification prompting, to participants of the shared ledger, to validate whether the consumer distributed ledger has required loyalty points for the transaction; if all of the participants of the shared ledger accepts the transaction, generating, a new immutable entry to the distributed ledger for the transaction with remaining loyalty points in the loyalty card after deducting the points required for the transaction; and sending a transaction approved message to the point of sale system at the merchant.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for cloud-based management of payment devices includes connecting a point of interaction device (POI) to a terminal management engine (TME) through a computer network, downloading operating software for the POI and configuration files for the POI from the TME to the POI, initializing the POI using the operating software, and configuring the POI using the configuration files. An alternative computer-implemented includes connecting to a POI through a computer network, receiving a transaction request from a TMC through the computer network, confirming access to the POI, transmitting a request for consumer information to the POI, receiving requested consumer information from the POI, transmitting the requested consumer information to the TMC, receiving a transaction approval message or a transaction decline message from the TMC, and transmitting the transaction approval message or the transaction decline message to the POI.

Abstract: Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for efficient transaction dispute management using blockchain. One method includes: receiving transaction information of a transaction, wherein the transaction information includes (1) an identifier of an issuer of a payment source account, (2) an identifier of an acquirer of a payment account of a merchant, and (3) the amount of resources to be applied in the transaction; generating a blockchain entry that stores the received transaction information in a shared ledger to participants of the blockchain; receiving in the shared ledger, from a participant, (1) an indication of a dispute of the transaction information, and (2) a proposed change to the transaction information; prompting the participants of the blockchain to respond to the indication of the dispute; if one of the participants denies the proposed change, executing a dispute settlement process to determine a revised transaction information.

One method comprises: receiving purchase information associated with a purchase event by a purchaser; comparing the received purchase information to a profile data store to identify a purchaser profile associated with the purchaser, the profile data store comprising a plurality of purchaser profiles, wherein each purchaser profile comprises payment vehicle data and a tracking element; determining the tracking element of the identified purchaser profile; identifying one or more activities of the purchaser using the tracking element of the identified purchaser profile; for each of the identified one or more activities, assessing the strength of attributing the purchase event to the activity, using environmental and/or behavioral data associated with the tracking element; and determining whether to attribute the purchase event to one or more of the identified activities based on the assessment.

Abstract: A point of sale terminal of a merchant includes a third party payment provider display area for payment using a third party payment provider. The point of sale terminal receives an authentication notification for a consumer from the third party payment provider. The consumer is authenticated using one or more of a personal identification number, an image of the consumer, a quick response code scanned from a mobile device of the consumer, or a code received via near field communications with the mobile device of the consumer. The point of sale terminal requests payment from the third party payment provider for a transaction with the consumer using the transaction amount and authentication information. The third party provider display area allows new payment modalities to be used at the point of sale terminal without requiring modification of the instructions for the point of sale terminal.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein for the client-side management of recurring payment transactions. An account holder can interact with a consumer computing device, such as a smart phone or tablet computer, to provide billing parameters for recurring payments to a merchant. The billing parameters can be updated over time by the account holder.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating an acoustic authentication data entry interface. One method comprises generating a random sequence of characters and a visual user interface element comprising a plurality sections, each section of the visual user interface element being associated with a respective character of the generated random sequence of characters. A section of the visual user interface elements is displayed to a user. Concurrently, an audio recording of a character associated with the displayed section is played to the user. Based on determining user selection of the displayed section, the character associated with the displayed section is logged as part of an authentication data. When all of the characters constituting the authentication data are logged, an electronic transaction authorization request is sent to an acquirer processor.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for electronic transaction messaging conversion. One method comprises receiving an authorization request message from a point of sale (POS) device, the authorization request message comprising transaction data associated with a transaction. Upon validating the authorization request message, a provisional authorization response message may be generated and sent to the POS device. Subsequently, a capture message may be received from the POS device, requesting clearing and settlement of the transaction. The capture message may be validated and translated to a composite message that is single-message system (SMS)-compatible. The composite message may then be sent downstream for further processing.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing an account holder with an incentive-consent matrix at a point-of-sale device of a merchant. The account holder can provide consent to store transaction related data and obtain an incentive in exchange. The incentive out be a coupon or other offering associated with the merchant. Varying levels of consent can be offered, with each level associated with an incentive having a different relative value. The transaction data can subsequently be provided to a recipient in accordance with the consent received from the account holder.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for secure transmission of computer server event notifications, including receiving a topic subscription request from a partner, registering the partner topic subscription request, obtaining a new computer server event to report, determining a subscribed partner subscribed to computer server events of a same type as the new computer server event, transmitting an event notification to the subscribed partner, and registering the event notification.

Abstract: Some systems and/or methods are configured to receive sensitive data from a vendor, determine a token key for the vendor, and utilize a proprietary algorithm, based on the token key to generate a vendor-specific token that is associated with the sensitive data. A token identifier may be created that comprises data related to the token key sending the vendor-specific token and the token identifier to the vendor.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for cloud-based testing of a payment network may include receiving a test configuration for testing a payment processing network, configuring a simulated worker generator for generating a plurality of simulated workers according to the received test configuration, reading commands to be executed by each simulated worker among the plurality of simulated workers from a command bank according to the received test configuration, configuring the plurality of simulated workers according to the commands and the received test configuration, starting a swarm test of the payment processing network by the plurality of simulated workers, reading results of the swarm test from the plurality of simulated workers, and saving the results to storage.
