Abstract: A system for markerless motion capture may include an image capture apparatus that obtains video including live movement of one or more subjects. An estimation module analyzes frames of the video and estimates the location of a plurality of keypoints on each of the subjects. A propagation module applies the keypoints corresponding to a first subject to the first subject additional frames of the video. The propagation module does the same for additional subjects in the video. A conversion module converts the plurality of keypoints from each frame of the video into a digital media file having a first file format and then converts the digital media file in the first file format into a digital media file having second file format. The system also includes a data storage apparatus configured to save the digital media files in the first and second file formats.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing attribute-based search of media assets such as video and audio assets, and associated augmented reality functions including dynamic provision of relevant secondary content relating to the identified attribute(s). In one embodiment, media or content assets are ingested into a processing system and processed according to one or more attribute detection, identification, and characterization algorithms. Attributes detected may include for example the presence of tangible items such as clothing or chattels, particular persons such as celebrities, and/or certain contexts such as sporting activities and musical performances, as rendered within the media asset. In one implementation, the characterized assets are provided a unique ID, and stored so as to permit cross-correlation based on, e.g., the identified and characterized attributes. Secondary content (e.g.

Abstract: Shape-based advertising techniques and systems are presented. A piece of visual media may be used to present advertising to the viewer of the media. Shapes within the visual media may be targeted, highlighted or otherwise identified for any type of advertising association, and then such advertising can be presented to the viewer of the media while viewing the media.
