Abstract: An air plenum provides protection from viruses and particulates to a user located beneath the air plenum. The air plenum has a housing with a fan centrally located within the housing. Low-velocity air is emitted downwardly from the fan through a perforated screen on a lower side of the housing onto the user. A slot diffuser extends around a lower periphery of the housing and emits high-velocity air downwardly to form an air curtain around the user. The higher velocity air of the air curtain reduces the ability of unwanted particulate matter to enter the area that is below the perforated screen.

Abstract: A method of connecting electrical substation wiring in an electrical substation provides pre-bundled yard cables configured to connect between field devices in the substation and a yard interface connection cabinet. The yard interface connection cabinet has an outside plug bulkhead plate that is accessible from outside of a control house that houses the yard interface connection cabinet. The outside plug bulkhead plate has a plurality of connectors configured to mate with the yard cables. The yard interface connection cabinet further has internal wires extending from an inside plug bulkhead plate and terminating at a terminal block. The connections and wires in the yard interface connection cabinet are tested with the yard cables before installation of the yard interface connection cabinet and yard cables in the substation. The yard cables are connected between the field devices and the outside plug bulkhead plate from outside of the control house.

Abstract: Systems and methods for creating and using 2-dimensional matrix code on tags or labels to identify panel components and associated information stored in and accessible from a data storage device or server or computer with a document management system (DMS). Related information can be encoded into an identifier using a URL with hyperlink onto a 2D matrix tag or label attached to specific panel component or wire. The information encoded in the 2D matrix code can be decoded using an interactive reader and data capture device such as a smart-phone or tablet computing device. Use the capture device's decoded information to provide interactive access and visual display to the interactive URL and hyperlink related information in the DMS. The capture device can be configured to provide immediate intelligence and functions with comparison and confirmation of quality, functionality, maintenance, status, and conformity with respect to panel components.
