A furniture accessory has a tongue that can fit into the groove. Magnets positioned about the tongue engage with the magnetically attractive element to hold the accessory in place. The magnetic force is sufficient to secure the accessory in its location within the groove while allowing for repositioning or removal of the accessory with relative ease.
