Abstract: An automated system and method for creating a class of loan securities includes determining if a characteristic for each of a plurality the loans satisfies at least one criteria, selecting each of the plurality of loans that satisfy the criteria, and creating the class of loan securities using the selected loans.

Abstract: A system and method for compressing a data set. The method comprises the steps of: (i) requesting a data set from a server to be sent to a user, (ii) determining the size of the data set to be sent, (iii) compressing the data set, (iv) assigning a compression flag to the compressed data set, (v) sending the compression flag and compressed data set to the user, (vi) inspecting the data set for compression, (vii) uncompressing the data set; and (viii) processing the data set. Alternatively, upon determining the size of the data set to be sent, assigning an uncompressed flag to the data set, sending the uncompressed flag and data set to the user, inspecting the data set for compression, and processing the data set. In another alternative embodiment, upon determining the size of the data set to be sent, sending the uncompressed data set to the user, inspecting the data set for compression, and processing the data set.

Abstract: A method for loading instructions into an executing process includes: executing a first application comprising at least one cartridge selected from a set of cartridges; instantiating a second application comprising at least one of the cartridges selected from the set of the cartridges with the first application during the execution of the first application; and executing the second application instantiated with the first application.

Abstract: A method of providing external notification of an error includes detecting an error during an execution of a program command in a first set of commands in a first system, identifying a second system to notify when the error is detected, generating a notification signal based on the detected error, and transmitting the notification signal to the second system. Optionally, the error can be resolved by receiving at least one corrected command from the second system in response to the notification signal and implementing the at least one corrected command into the first set in the first system. A system and a computer readable medium capable of executing the method of the present invention are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method and system for displaying and providing access to data on a monitor includes retrieving at least two vistas from a memory, preparing the vistas for display, and then displaying the retrieved vistas in one of at least three different formats on the monitor. Each of the vistas comprises at least one panel of data for display. The three formats comprise a collapsed state wherein more than one, but less than all of the panels of data for the vista are displayed, an open state wherein a selected set of two or more of the panels of data are displayed for the vista, and an exploded state wherein all of the panels of data are displayed for the vista.
