  • Patent number: 12151494
Abstract: A micro-transfer structure comprises a stamp comprising a rigid support, only a single contiguous bulk layer disposed on the rigid support, and posts disposed on the bulk layer. Components are adhered to (e.g., disposed in contact with) some but not all of the posts. The posts can be substantially identical and disposed in a regular array on the bulk layer. Each component is adhered to (e.g., in contact with) two or more posts. Components can be disposed on a source wafer entirely over sacrificial portions of a sacrificial layer on or in the source wafer and attached to anchors disposed between sacrificial portions with a tether.

  • Patent number: 12153177
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system and method for generating images and location data of a subsurface object using existing infrastructure as a source. Many infrastructure objects (e.g., pipes, cables, conduits, wells, foundation structures) are constructed of rigid materials and have a known shape and location. Additionally these infrastructure objects can have exposed portions that are above or near the surface and readily accessible. A signal generator can be affixed to the exposed portion of the infrastructure object, which induces acoustic energy, or vibrations in the object. The object with affixed signal generator can then be used as a source in performing a subsurface imaging of subsurface objects, which are not exposed.

  • Patent number: 12150518
Abstract: A footbed comprises a cushion comprising a heel portion, a forefoot portion, and a lower surface. The heel and forefoot portions each comprise resilient balls located in a resilient matrix material. The balls have a first hardness measure, and the matrix material has a second hardness measure that is different than the first hardness measure. The balls in the forefoot portion are of a first diameter and the balls in the heel portion are of a second diameter, the first diameter being smaller than the second diameter. The heel portion is separated from the forefoot portion by a midfoot portion. Each of the balls in the cushion may be interconnected with adjacent respective balls by spacing pins, the spacing pins creating gaps between adjacent respective balls, the matrix material being located in the gaps. The matrix material substantially surrounds each of the balls in the cushion.

  • Patent number: 12148138
Abstract: Multivariant feature extraction is used for training volumes or 2D images, (real or synthetic) coupled to process (effective) values probably obtained from direct simulation. These features are coupled with machine learning/regression algorithms to make a predictive model for the effective property. • Patent number: 12146839
Abstract: A deep learning-based quality inspection system by learning only non-defective manufactured product data may include: an input unit receiving a non-defective manufactured product image data set; a preprocessor preprocessing a model to learn the images with a same size by not applying a cropping task to cut and process only an area at a specific location within each image for each of the plurality of images included in the image data set, but applying a resizing task of adjusting each image to a desired size and a padding task of adjusting the size of the image while maintaining a ratio of each image as it is; and a controller extracting a non-defective manufactured product feature which becomes a non-defective manufactured product criterion from the preprocessed image, and generating a plurality of fake defective manufactured product features by adding a Gaussian noise feature to the extracted non-defective manufactured product feature.

  • Patent number: 12146953
Abstract: Some embodiments relate to the application of a system and a signal processing method for data acquired from a Scanning Acoustic Microscope (SAM) to obtain a high axial resolution and enhanced imaging. The SAM is one of ultrasound imaging methods used for NDE. Embodiments may provide methods for decreasing or reducing the duration (width) of the pulses scattered/reflected by multiple objects/scatters. Such embodiments can accomplish this by eliminating, or at least partially eliminating, the background noise by deconvolving the system responses (i.e., reference signals) obtained from either theoretical modeling or experimental acquiring. In one embodiment, the method minimizes the pulse duration by using a regression technique to predict the spectra responses outside a frequency band.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method for creating a fabricable segmented design for a physical device is provided. A computing system receives a design specification. The computing system generates a proposed segmented design based on the design specification. The computing system determines two or more loss values based on the proposed segmented design. The computing system combines the two or more loss values to create a combined loss value. The computing system creates an updated design specification using the combined loss value. The generating, determining, combining, and creating actions are repeated until a fabricable segmented design is generated.
