  • Patent number: 12449850
Abstract: An article mounting system comprises an article mounting apparatus and an article (e.g., accessory item) including a first article mount integral therewith. The article mounting apparatus comprises a main body and a first article attachment body. The first article attachment body is movably attached to the main body for enabling the first article attachment body to be moved between a first use position relative to the main body and a second use position relative to the main body. The first article attachment body includes set of retention members engageable with a set of mating retention members of the first article mount. Such engagement provides for the first article mount to be releasably retain in a selected one of a plurality of available mounting positions relative to the first article attachment body.

  • Patent number: 12050736
Abstract: User interface apparatuses include a main body having a hinge portion integral with a long-edge at a top edge portion of the main body and a support body having a hinge portion integral with a long-edge at a bottom edge portion of the support body. The hinge portion of the support body is engaged with the hinge portion of the main body for enabling the support body to be pivoted between an in-plane orientation and a deployed orientation relative to the main body. Top and bottom surfaces of the support body each lay one of on and inboard of a reference plane defined by a respective one of a top surface and a bottom surface of the main body when the support body is in the in-plane orientation with respect to the main body. An overall thickness of the main body and the support body is preferably about the same.

  • Publication number: 20060225571
Abstract: Biogas released from landfills and sewage treatment plants is freed of siloxane contaminants by passing the biogas through a bed containing activated alumina, which absorbs the siloxanes. When the activated alumina becomes saturated with siloxanes, the absorption capability of the activated alumina can be recovered by passing a regeneration gas through the bed of activated alumina. A system containing two or more beds of activated alumina can use one bed to remove siloxanes from biogas while one or more of the other beds are being regenerated.

  • Patent number: 4503125
Abstract: A protective overcoating is disclosed for a magnetic alloy thin-film recording disc that includes a magnetic alloy film formed on a disc-shaped substrate or coated substrate. The protective overcoating is formed by first sputtering onto the magnetic medium an interfacial layer of titanium, and then sputtering onto the titanium a layer of carbon. The sputtered carbon provides wear-resisting lubricity, while the titanium interface promotes the adhesion of the sputtered carbon to the magnetic medium of the recording disc.
