Abstract: The present invention relates to a wind turbine assembly comprising a turbine having turbine blades, said turbine being arranged to generate a rotational energy as the turbine blades are engaged by a wind, characterized in that said wind turbine assembly further comprises an emergency brake that is operationally connected to the turbine blades for pitching the turbine blades towards a rest position by the rotational energy of the turbine, when the emergency brake is activated.
