Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content communicating, displaying, generating, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods determine and display message content within a portion of a message inbox in a manner that is specific to the type message content. According to some embodiments, when a message is received in a message inbox of a user, the message content can be opened for display within a dedicated portion of the inbox, thereby enabling improved message content retrieval, access and navigation within a message platform or message application.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for generating a list of suggested queries associated with one or more keywords are provided. For example, one or more keywords may be received via a search interface. A plurality of queries associated with the one or more keywords may be determined based upon the one or more keywords and a historical query database. A plurality of relationship scores associated with the plurality of queries may be generated based upon a plurality of search sessions associated with the historical query database. The historical query database may be analyzed to determine a plurality of click rates associated with the plurality of queries. A list of suggested queries may be generated based upon the plurality of relationship scores and the plurality of click rates.

Abstract: One or more methods and/or techniques for providing a personalized future event notification to a user are provided herein. A content item (e.g., a news article, a social network post, etc.) may be evaluated utilizing a future event detection model to identify a future event (e.g., a festival). The future event detection model may have been trained to identify future events based upon part of speech analysis and entity recognition analysis of text within content items. In an example, the future event detection model may be used to identify locational features, temporal features, and/or entities from the content item. A user having a user interest in the future event above an interest threshold may be identified based upon user identifying information (e.g., a social network profile) being indicative of user interest in the future event. A personalized future event notification of the future event may be provided to the user.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards automatically learning user behavioral patterns when interacting with messages and based on the learned patterns, suggesting one or more predicted actions that a user might take in response to receiving subsequent message. One or more classifiers are trained and employed to predict one or more actions that a user might take in response to receiving the message. In one embodiment, the one or more predicted actions are provided suggested to the user as an action the user might take on the message. Messages may be rank ordered within a given suggested action based on a confidence level of the prediction.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to providing a recommendation for subscribing to or unsubscribing from an electronic communication. In one example, actions of a user are obtained with respect to electronic communications of the user. One or more categories of the electronic communications are determined. A state of the user is determined based on the actions and the one or more categories. The state is either a discovery state indicating that the user expresses an interest to receive electronic communications associated with a specific category or a cleaning state indicating that the user lacks an interest in one or more received electronic communications. A subscribe recommendation for subscribing to electronic communications associated with the specific category is provided when the state is determined to be a discovery state.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for generating a set of tips for an entity are provided. For example, users may create user generated content describing an entity, such as a user review for a consumer good, a location, an event, etc. Because a user may be unable to read and digest all of the user reviews for the entity, the user may merely read a few user reviews, and thus miss out on useful information. Accordingly, tip templates, indicative of how tips are linguistically/grammatically constructed, are applied to the user reviews to automatically extract a set of tips for the entity (e.g., “make sure to bring a rain jacket”). The set of tips may be filtered to remove undesirable tips, ranked based upon usefulness, and/or diversified to remove redundant tips. In this way, a set of useful tips may be provided to the user.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for displaying messaging interfaces based upon email conversations are provided. For example, an email conversation associated with a plurality of user accounts may be identified. Email activity associated with the plurality of user accounts may be monitored. Based upon the email activity, it may be detected that a second plurality of user accounts of the plurality of user accounts are concurrently in an active state. A first device, associated with a first user account of the second plurality of user accounts, may display a first messaging interface comprising a first representation of the email conversation. A second device, associated with a second user account of the second plurality of user accounts, may display a second messaging interface comprising a second representation of the email conversation.

Abstract: In an aspect, fantasy sports data is analyzed to generate and/or manage the delivery of and user experience of fantasy sports games and contests, including timing and payout structure(s) for short-term fantasy contests, such as daily, weekly, etc. fantasy sports contests, that motivate and appeal to contestants and is/are reasonably structured and concisely represented. In yet another aspect, a daily fantasy contest system is provided to automatically adjust to user demand without overshooting profitable levels and offer a variety of different contests, as well as offer contests with guaranteed and non-guaranteed payouts.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for providing a system with access to resources associated with a user account using a disposable email address (DEA) are provided. A request to provide a system with access to a first set of resources may be received. The first set of resources may be associated with a first email account associated with a first email address. A first DEA associated with the first email account may be generated. The first DEA may be transmitted to the system. A first set of modified emails may be generated based upon a first set of emails of the first email account. A first modified email of the first set of modified emails may comprise an indication of the first DEA. Access to the first set of modified emails may be provided to the system. The first DEA may be deactivated.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for providing batch performance using a stream processor. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising receiving an event, such as a streaming event, from a client. The method determines that the event comprises a primary event and, if so, writes the primary event to a cache and returning the primary event to the client. The method later receives a second event from the client, the second event associated with the first event, annotates the second event based on the primary event, and returns the annotated second event to the client.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods are provided. A machine learning model may be trained using a plurality of sets of information. One or more pruning operations may be performed in association with the training to generate a machine learning model with a sparse set of field weights associated with feature fields associated with features of the plurality of sets of auction information. A request for content associated with a client device may be received. A set of features associated with the request for content may be determined. Positive signal probabilities associated with a plurality of content items may be determined using the machine learning model based upon field weights, of the machine learning model, associated with the set of features. A content item may be selected from the plurality of content items for presentation via the client device based upon the positive signal probabilities.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for graphically presenting messages are provided. For example, a plurality of messages, associated with a messaging account, comprising a first message and a second message may be received. A first graphical object may be generated by a device, such as a server and/or a client device of a user, based upon the first message. A second graphical object may be generated by the device based upon the second message. In response to receiving a request to access the messaging account, the device may present the first graphical object. In response to receiving one or more user inputs corresponding to the first graphical object, an action may be performed and/or the second graphical object may be presented.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for query expansion are provided. For example, a search user interface is populated with search results of a query submitted through a computing device. User input is received through the search user interface for an object, such as a drag and drop command of a phrase occurring within the search results. The user input may drag the phrase from a search result to a query input user interface. In this way, the query is modified based upon the object, such as where the phrase is added to the query to create a modified query. Second search results for the modified query are displayed through the search user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for syndicating slideshow content in a web feed. Data is obtained for a content feed associated with a web page in response to a request by a user of a content feed reader. A slideshow within the web page is identified based on analysis of the obtained data according to a schema definition for syndication of slideshow content. A first set of properties for the slideshow is extracted from the obtained data, based on the schema definition. A set of slides of the slideshow is identified based on the first set of properties. A second set of properties for the set of slides is also extracted from the obtained data. The content feed including the set of slides of the slideshow and one or more properties of the second set are displayed to the user via the content feed reader.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to recommending content items to a user based on tensor factorization. In one example, a request is received for recommending content items to the user. Tensor data related to a plurality of users and a plurality of content items are obtained based on the request. The tensor data is decomposed into a plurality of sub-tensors based on a prior probability distribution. At least one bound is determined for a tensor factorization model that is generated based on the prior probability distribution. One or more items interesting to the user are predicted based on the at least one bound and the plurality of sub-tensors. At least one of the one or more items is recommended to the user as a response to the request.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for controlling a graphical user interface to present a representation of an item in messages are provided. For example, a message may be received from a first device. The message may be analyzed to identify an item of the message. A database of known items may be analyzed to determine whether the item is in the database of known items. Responsive to determining that the item is not in the database of known items, a database of representations may be analyzed to determine a representation of the item. A graphical user interface of a second device may be controlled to present a representation of the item.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for converting a data structure into an array are provided herein. Nodes of a data structure, such as a tree structure, are recursively processed to convert the data structure into an array. When processing a numerical node that is a parent of a low child node and a high child node, the numerical node of the tree structure is inserted into a first array element. The low child node is inserted into a second array element next to the first array element. The high child node is inserted into a third array element next to the second array element. A reference to the high child node is stored in association with the numerical node.

Abstract: Technologies for template generation using directed acyclic word graphs (DAWGs). The technologies can include receiving a first plurality of titles from a first plurality of title feeds, and sorting the first plurality of titles into a plurality of category sets. And, for each category set of the plurality of category sets, the technologies can include transforming the respective titles belonging to the category set into a trie data structure by separating words in the respective titles into nodes of the trie data structure. For each category set, the technologies can also include transforming the trie data structure into a directed acyclic word graph (DAWG) data structure. Also, for each category set, the technologies can also include generating one or more unique templates based on the DAWG data structure.

Abstract: As provided herein, a list of locales of interest in a location may be sorted into one or more categories. A user performing a search for a locale of interest (e.g., a restaurant) may be identified. A local score may be assigned to the locale of interest based upon a number of local users (e.g., users residing in the location) that perform the search. A second user may be determined to be near the locale of interest. A category of interest may be determined for the second user (e.g., an interest in local non-tourist restaurants). Responsive to the category of interest corresponding to the category and the local score of the locale of interest exceeding an interest threshold, the second user may be provided with a recommendation to go to the locale of interest. The locale of interest may be a local favorite restaurant rather than a tourist trap.
