Patent number: 5120202Abstract: The objective of the present invention is to provide a reciprocation switching device for a pump which will solve problems of conventional devices such as that, because coil springs are used for activating by their snap action valve operators or switching operators serving to control the pressure of pump working fluid in relation to reciprocating action of the pump, such devices require the numerous number of parts including spring fitting shafts, the structure to attach such fitting shafts, parts for spring holders, etc.; and that the assembling of those parts is troublesome. A device according to the present invention uses one or two wire springs made into a C-like shape as the springs for the aforementioned purpose and calls for fitting said springs directly between the spring fitting section(s) and the valve operator or the switching operator.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 1990Date of Patent: June 9, 1992Assignee: Yamada Yuki Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Minoru Murata, Kazumasa Yamada

Patent number: 4923168Abstract: A spool type switching valve to be used for the switching operation of a diaphragm pump or a similar device, which simultaneously insures both preventing abrasion of the detent mechanism and obtaining thorough operation of switching the spool. A spool is movably fitted inside a sleeve and is prevented from standing still at a neutral point by a detent mechanism provided at one of its ends. The detent mechanism comprises a spool operator fitted around a shaft section at one end of the spool as one body, a spring holder at the end of the sleeve retains a pair of C-shaped wire springs of a circular cross-section fitted between the spool operator and the spring holder. As the spool passes the neutral point, spring forces snap the spool to the extremity of its range, thereby preventing stopping of the spool in the neutral position. An axial clearance permits the spool operator to begin moving before the spool moves.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 1989Date of Patent: May 8, 1990Assignee: 501 Yamada Yuki Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Minoru Murata, Kazumasa Yamada

Patent number: 4817503Abstract: A pressure chamber of a diaphragm pump having an outer chamber improved so that it is free from stress concentration. The inner wall surface of the pressure chamber is recessed in a mero-spherical shape. In order to support this chamber wall from its rear side, an outer ring rib is provided along the outermost periphery of the outer surface of the chamber, and an inner ring rib is circumferentially disposed at the inner side of the outer ring rib. Further, radial ribs are provided so as to connect together the outer and inner ring ribs in the radial direction.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 1987Date of Patent: April 4, 1989Assignee: Yamada Yuki Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Kazumasa Yamada

Patent number: 4188170Abstract: A diaphragm pump includes a pump chamber, a pressure fluid chamber, a diaphragm partitioning the interior of the pump into the pump chamber and the pressure fluid chamber, a cylinder communicating with the pressure fluid chamber, and a plunger reciprocable within the cylinder. The pressure fluid chamber or the cylinder communicates with a pressure fluid reservoir via a pressure regulating valve adapted to open when the pressure in the pressure fluid chamber is too high, and a valve adapted to open before the pressure in the pressure fluid chamber is too low, and to close when the pressure is restored to a given pressure level.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 1978Date of Patent: February 12, 1980Assignee: Yamada Yuki Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Jinichi Ito

Patent number: 4011761Abstract: A wheel balancer comprising a pair of shafts for supporting a rotary shaft for rotatably mounting a wheel having an amount of unbalance to be measured is disclosed. The supporting shafts are located on a circle having a center which is coincided with a movable instantaneous center of vibration of the wheel and held by a pair of spring members such that the supporting shafts are movable in a direction of a tangent touching the above mentioned circle. The amount of unbalance of the wheel is converted into an electrical signal which is supplied through a calculation circuit to a comparison circuit which can detect the position of the instantaneous center of vibration by means of an indicating means movable in proportional to the amount of movement of the instantaneous center of vibration of the wheel.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 1975Date of Patent: March 15, 1977Assignee: Yamada Yuki Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Jinichi Ito
