    Abstract: An IC carrier has a base and a cover pivotably attached to the base through a shaft coupling. One end of the cover is provided with a plurality of shafts forming the shaft coupling and arranged at spaced intervals. The base is provided with a short recess portion shorter than the length of the shaft and a recess portion equal to or longer than the length of the shafts. The short and long recess portions are spaced on one end of the base at an equal interval to the spacing of the shafts. One end of the recess portions is provided with a shaft receiving portion for receiving ends of the corresponding shaft. The cover can be bent in the thickness direction and the shafts can be inclined in accordance with the bending of the cover.

The positioning holes are adapted to permit the leg portions to extend individually through the connector board.     Abstract: A contact shutter mechanism in an IC socket has a socket body which has a plurality of contacts arranged in such a manner as to be able to contact with terminals of an IC package. A contact shutter member vertically movably disposed on the socket body is adapted to displace, when pushed down, the contacts backward against the resiliency thereof to remove contact between the terminals of the IC package and the contacts and to bring an IC loading portion into a released state. The shutter member has a contact pushing portion adapted to rendering a backward displacement force to the contacts. The contact pushing portion is formed with an inclined surface. The inclined surface is formed at a front-stage pushing portion with a gently inclined surface and at a rear-stage pushing portion with a steeply inclined surface.

    Abstract: An IC socket has an IC accommodating portion, at least one ejection lever disposed in the IC accommodating portion, and a socket board for supporting a generally central portion of the lever in such a manner as to be able to effect a seesaw motion. An IC is supported by a push-up lever portion on one end of the lever for effecting the seesaw motion. A push-down force is exerted on the push-down lever portion on the other end for effecting a seesaw motion of the lever, thereby to move up the push-up lever portion on the one end in order to push up the IC. The IC socket is characterized in that the push-up lever portion is provided with a small projection on a lower surface of the push-up lever portion and a cone-shaped concave portion is formed at a position corresponding to the small production in the socket board so that the lever is correctly positioned with respect to the socket board.

The two pivot holes formed in the above-mentioned one end of the socket substrate are arranged symmetrically with the two pivot holes formed in the other end of the socket substrate.

An elastic striking portion is fixed to an outer periphery of the sensor storage portion, and an impact acceleration sensor is housed within the sensor storage portion for sensing a striking power of the elastic striking portion applied to a test object. A circuit is housed within the grip portion and operatively connected to the sensor by way of wiring extending through the hollow interior of the handle. Such a circuit includes a range switch, a scale conversion amplifier and a wind amplifier. A knob is provided on the outer periphery of the grip portion for operating the range switch to set a degree of amplification of the amplifier.

A free end of the elastic portion element is abutted against an inner surface on the warped side of the warped element in order to elastically support the rigid portion element.

The terminal of the electric part can be inserted into the no-load insertion space through the terminal insertion hole formed in the movable plate. The terminal can then be brought to a position in which it contacts the contact from the no-load insertion space by causing the movable plate to move laterally in one direction. Likewise, the terminal can be moved into the no-load insertion space from the contacting position by causing lateral movement of the movable plate in the other direction, in order to realize a no-load insertion and withdrawal of the electric part.
