Abstract: An animal and vegetable oils combustor, wherein primary air is introduced into a burner tile in the form of straight-ahead air flow moving straight ahead along the axial direction of the burner tile and secondary air is introduced in the form of swirl air flow moving along the inner surface of the side wall of the burner tile, whereby perfect combustion is liable to occur since a centrifugal force acts on liquid-drop fuel by swirl air flow to diffuse the fuel in the radial direction and the liquid-drop fuel does not take such a route as to be adhered to the inner wall even if char is included in the liquid drop fuel since the fuel is jetted after the grain size thereof is adjusted to small one beforehand.

Abstract: A burner apparatus uses fuel derived from waste resin. The burner includes a cylindrical body in combination with an oxygen supplier, which form an oxygen deficient atmosphere. While rotating the cylindrical body, a small portion of waste resin is partially combusted to generate heat energy and changes its form to finely divided particles. The heat energy is used for heating and gasifying a remaining larger portion of the waste resin. The produced gas particles are conveyed toward an outlet nozzle of the cylindrical body and are injected outwardly for complete combustion in air.
Abstract: A method of processing hot dross resulting from an aluminum smelting process is carried out as follows. First, the hot dross is filled in a hollow container which has a porous bottom plate closing a bottom opening of the container. A solid plate is placed on the filled hot dross. Then, an impact load is applied successively on the hot dross via the solid plate by an appropriate hammer mechanism. By the application of successive impact load, the air and aluminum content in a molten state are expelled from the dross and discharged through the porous bottom plate. The resultant solidified dross contains metal aluminum content without oxidized or nitrided, and therefore is suitable for use as a deoxidant utilized in deoxidizing process of oxidation smelting of steel.
