  • Patent number: 8051976
Abstract: A track frame assembly is provided having a frame member formed from an elongated channel, a pair of track rail members each fixed in place on a predetermined surface of the frame member, and a plurality of rail fixtures with which the pair of track rail members can removably be fixed to the frame member. Each of the track rail members includes a retaining projection having a retaining recess, the retaining recesses of the track rail members are opposite each other and each chain element of the conveyor chain has a pair of engaging projections which are formed to slide in contact in the respective retaining recesses in the track rail members so that the conveyor chain can be move smoothly. Thus, the track frame assembly can be formed from a reduced number of parts and designed lightweight because of its structural simplicity.

  • Patent number: 6976823
Abstract: A work reversing system is provided which includes a pair of oscillation drive units, an elevation drive unit, an elevation block, and a pair of oscillation levers. The elevation block is moved up and down by an elevation lever of the elevation drive unit, and has fixed thereto a pair of guide plates which each have a guide recess formed therein. Each oscillation lever has a sliding block provided slidably thereon, which has a guide projection sliding in the guide recess. As the elevation block and oscillation levers are activated, the sliding block is moved in a direction defined by the guide recess. A work is caught by one of clamping members attached to the sliding blocks, and the clamping member is elevated and oscillated. The work is then caught by the other clamping member, and the clamping member is oscillated and lowered, so that the work is reversed.

  • Patent number: 6854397
Abstract: A metallic frame member provided for use in a traveling frame assembly, guide rail or receiving rail in a conveyor system. A rear section extends longitudinally of the frame member. A pair of inclined sections are bent in directions in which they extend towards each other from lateral ends of the rear section. A pair of front sections are bent in directions in which they extend from lateral ends of the pair of inclined sections generally in parallel to the rear section. A pair of side sections are bent from lateral ends of the front sections towards the rear section. The rear section and pair of inclined sections define a longitudinal concavity having a generally C-like vertical cross-sectional profile. Each of the side sections are folded back at the free end inside or outside thereof to form a folded portion.

  • Patent number: 6820737
Abstract: A track frame assembly to guide the conveyor chain or the like in a conveyor system is provided which includes at least a pair of frame members (A1), coupling block (10) and track rails (D). The frame member (A1) includes a base plate portion (1) and a pair of bent plate portions (2 and 4). The bent plate portions (2 and 4) have a plurality of cuts (5) formed therein nearly perpendicularly to the length thereof at predetermined intervals. When the base plate portion (1) is curbed in the direction of its thickness, the cuts (5) are deformed and the bent plate portions (2 and 4) are bent in the direction of their width, so that the frame members can be deformed easily and positively to a desired curved shape. Therefore, the track frame assembly is highly lightweight and rigid, simply configured, easy to produce and suitable for mass production, easy to handle and assemble. Thus the track frame assembly is optimally usable as a curved track portion in the conveyor system.

  • Patent number: 6786327
Abstract: In a conveyor chain coupling structure, a block link A has a connecting rod (2) provided at one of conveying-directional ends thereof to project in the conveying direction and a coupling bore (5) formed at the other conveying-directional end. A pair of toroidal bush bearings (25, 30) is provided and a spherical bush (2) to be fixed to the connecting rod (2) is provided between the pair of toroidal bush bearings (25, 30). The first toroidal bush bearing (25) is fitted slidably on a portion, at the side of the other conveying-directional end, of the spherical bush (20) while the second toroidal bush bearing (30) is fitted at the spherical concave surface (31) thereof slidably on a portion, at the side of the one conveying-directional end, of the spherical bush (20). Owing to this construction, the coupled parts will not rattle, which will thus cause no pulsation or noise but will assure a smooth relative oscillation or reciprocal relative rotation of the block links.

  • Patent number: 6736259
Abstract: The present invention provides a chain for use in a three-dimensional conveyor line, formed from synthetic resin-made chain links A connected endlessly to each other by a shaft pin C. The chain link A includes a top plate part A2 on which a product to be conveyed is placed, and a link part A1 formed under the top plate part to couple two adjacent chain links to each other and which includes a projecting head portion 1 and a pair of leg pieces 2. The upper surface of the projecting head portion 1 is formed circular nearly along a circle whose center lies on the longitudinal axis of the shaft pin C and smoothly contiguous to the upper surface of the top plate part A2. The length of the top plate part A2 in the conveying direction is set shorter than the chain pitch. The top plate part A2 has a lower slant face 11 formed on the front edge thereof, and also formed on the central rear edge thereof a curved concavity 7 with a concave slant face 7a.

  • Patent number: 6308825
Abstract: A plastic conveyor chain includes a plurality of plastic link elements connected with each other by connecting pins extending through respective pin holes in the link elements. A retainer device retains the connecting pins in the pin holes, and includes a plug which is normally retained by the link element and which is thus prevented from being lost. The plug is movable in a direction intersecting with an axial direction of the connecting pin, between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the plug is partly situated in the pin hole for normally preventing an unintended axial withdrawal of the connection pin from the pin hole. In the second position, the plug is retracted from the pin hole for allowing an intended axial withdrawal of the connecting pin from the pin hole whenever necessary.
