Abstract: Sports goggles include a goggle frame, a goggle lens fitted in the goggle frame, a strap coupled to the goggle frame at coupling positions on the right and left sides of the goggle frame. The sports goggles also include a ventilation fan system having a ventilation fan. In the system, a ventilation fan unit is provided on an upper portion of the goggle frame, a power supply unit is provided on one of right and left end areas below the coupling positions, and a switch unit is provided on the other area. The sports goggles provide a wearer with comfortable fitting and easy manipulation of the switch for the ventilation fan system.
Abstract: Eyeglasses include a right and a left rim member connected with a bridge. A groove extends from an inside area to an upper and lower areas of each of the rim members, and a lens is inserted in the groove at its inside, upper and lower edges. The lens is slidable laterally outwards to be detached from the rim member and inwards to be fitted therein. Therefore the lens can be easily changed, but not prone to come off inadvertently.
Abstract: Goggles include an eye-cup and a belt that are coupled by means of a coupling member. The eye-cup and the coupling member can be engaged and disengaged easier compared with conventional goggles. In the goggles, at a connecting end of the coupling member is provided an elastic bent piece with a V-shape section and a spring property. And a connection recess is provided on the eye-cup. The elastic bent piece of the coupling member and the connection recess of the eye-cup are fixed together in a mutual engaging state. The engaging state can be released by narrowing the gap distance in the V-shape of the elastic bent piece.
Abstract: The invention has an object to obtain a polarizing and dimming transparent optical product having both-a polarizing function and a dimming function, for example, polarizing and dimming sunglasses, goggles and lenses. The transparent optical product according to the invention has a lamination structure including one polarizer sheet layer, and at least one layer other than the polarizer sheet having the dimming function. Moreover, a plurality of sheets including one polarizer sheet and at least one sheet other than the polarizer sheet are mutually bonded with an adhesive or a binder to constitute a composite sheet, and at least one of the non-polarizer sheets and adhesive or binder layers in the composite sheet has the dimming function.
Abstract: A polarizing optical composite equipped with a polarizing plate holding a polarizer sheet layer between two protective sheet layers, wherein the polarizing sheet layer has on one side thereof at least two layers, in a body, constructed of materials different each other. The polarizing optical composite has high impact resistance and high degree of polarization, and is used as, for example, goggles, sunglasses, and spectacles, which have high impact resistance, has more safety, and can prevent dazzling light.

Abstract: Uncut spectacle lenses and a pair of spectacles using such lenses are provided. The uncut lenses includes a lens body and a pair of tabs fixed to an outer periphery of the lens body in opposite relationship with each other with respect to the geometrical center of the lens. The optical center of the lens is set up at a position spaced apart from the geometrical center thereof such that a line connecting the geometrical center and the optical center of the lens makes a predetermined angle with respect to a central line passing through the pair of tabs and the geometrical center of the lens. Further, the invention provides a polarizing spectacle lens wherein the optical center of the lens is located at a position spaced apart from the geometrical center and the line connecting the geometrical center and the optical center makes a predetermined angle with respect to the axis of polarization of the lens.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a lens having a lens body integral with a functional sheet on one side thereof, includes an insert molding process including the steps of: placing the functional sheet as an insert in position in a mold defining a suction hole therein; and while attracting the functional sheet against a molding surface of the mold by a peripheral portion thereof by suction through the suction hole, supplying to the mold a molten plastic material for forming the lens body, to form the lens.
Abstract: A pair of eyeglasses capable of maintaining the curve of an eyeglass main body even if temples are opened excessively wherein the temples do not pinch the head of a user to otherwise make the eyeglasses uncomfortable to wear even if the eyeglass main body is curved more sharply. The eyeglasses comprise a pair of left and right temples attached to left and right sides of an eyeglass main body through temple attachment members having a fork shape consisting of a fixed part fixedly attached to the eyeglass main body and a rocking part to which one end of each of the temples is attached.
