Abstract: A cushion ring which is used between a rod-side cylinder head and a piston rod of a fluid-pressure cylinder and which is externally fitted on the piston rod to cushion a shock in the vicinity of the farthest extended end of cylinder includes a throttling groove that has a V-shaped cross section. The throttling groove extends from an appropriate position of the cushion ring to a rod-side end part and functions to throttle the flow of a working fluid flowing from a rod-side fluid chamber to an input/output port provided in a rod-side cylinder head. The throttling groove is provided at the outer periphery of the cushion ring. The throttling groove terminates at a rod-side end part with an end guide face that guides the working fluid toward a slantwise outward direction of the cushion ring.

Abstract: A gas spring is intended to permanently maintain the sealing performance of a lip in a dust seal without being affected by pressure from a gas sealed inside the spring. A rod body is operates in conjunction with a cylinder body with a gas of a predetermined pressure sealed inside the cylinder body. The rod body is movable into and out of the cylinder body. A rod guide is penetrated by the rod body at a shaft core portion inside a head end portion of the cylinder body. A dust seal has with a lip in sliding contact with an outer circumference of the rod body. A sealed end portion of the cylinder body is in contact with an outer end of the rod guide inside the cylinder body. The dust seal is integrally incorporated at the outer end portion of the rod guide.

Abstract: The holder member 4 is rotatably supported at the tip portion 2a of the sliding member 2 placed on the guide face 1a of the guide member 1 arranged fixedly inside the cylinder C. The holder member 4 is inclined when the tip portion 3a of the profiling member 3 is inserted between the holder member 4 and the sliding member 2. Then the tapered end of the processing roller 6 is pushed into the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder where the sliding member 2 and the profiling member 3 move together in the axial direction of the cylinder, thereby to form a linear groove on the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder C.
