Patents Assigned to Yank Technologies, Inc.
  • Publication number: 20240006931
Abstract: The disclosed technology provides a resonant inductive receiver integrated in a wireless power receiver accessory such as a phone case and configured to provide power to an electronic device such as a mobile phone. The power to charge the electronic device is received from a pass-through connector coupled to the receiver accessory when a wired charger is plugged into the connector, or received from a wireless power transmitter when a wired charger is not plugged into the connector and the wireless power receiver is proximate to the wireless power transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20230187975
Abstract: Systems and methods for wirelessly charging one or more electronic devices in a vehicle (e.g., electronics in the vehicle seat or charging occupant devices from charging system embedded in the vehicle) are described. One method includes receiving a direct current (DC) signal from a power source, amplifying the received DC signal to generate an amplified alternating current (AC) signal, monitoring an internal signal in the power amplifier and adjusting one or more properties of the power amplifier in response to the monitored signal.

  • Publication number: 20230095693
Abstract: A receiver system for a wireless charging system includes a receiver antenna forming a first planar layer; a shielding material adjacent to the receiver antenna, the shielding material forming a second planar layer; and a dielectric separation material layer disposed between the receiver antenna and the shielding material layer, wherein the dielectric separation material comprises a thickness of 0.1 mm or higher and a dissipation factor of 0.01 or lower at a 1 MHz frequency, and wherein the dielectric separation material is configured to maintain an intrinsic quality factor “Q” value of the receiver antenna above a target intrinsic Q value.

  • Patent number: 11183881
Abstract: An antenna fabrication method includes depositing a conductive material on a surface of a double injection mold that includes a first surface portion comprising a primary material corresponding to a slot of the antenna and a second surface portion comprising an overmold material corresponding to a conductive surface of the antenna such that conductive material does not deposit on the primary material while it deposits on the secondary material, thereby resulting in multiple loops of the conductive material on the surface of the double injection mold, and providing two contact points to the conductive material, the contact points being separated from each other by a gap in the conductive material.

  • Patent number: 10644542
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for wirelessly charging electronic devices. In one aspect, a wireless charging transmitter device includes a three-dimensional coil array electrically coupled to a power source and Power Source structured to include two or more coils to produce an electromagnetic field that emanates from the three-dimensional coil array, in which the coils are arranged such that at least two coils are perpendicular to each other to direct the electromagnetic field. The wireless charging transmitter device is operable to wirelessly charge an electronic device by providing the electromagnetic field at a receiver coil of the electronic device to convert the electromagnetic energy to electrical energy to power the electronic device.
