Abstract: Disclosed is a jewelry holding device for storing and displaying earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and other items of jewelry. The jewelry holder has a base from which extends a stem which supports a cover. The cover has one or more openings for storing and displaying piercing jewelry. The base of the jewelry holder is capable of releasable attachment to a storage support. The device stem optionally accommodates holding other items of jewelry such as necklaces, cuffs and bracelets. Also disclosed is a method for displaying and organizing jewelry using such a device.
