Abstract: A liquid-proof connector includes a columnar terminal having a rectangular cross-sectional shape and a connector that includes a connector housing which is obtained through insert molding with the columnar terminal, is made of fiber-reinforced plastic in which fibers are oriented in a longitudinal direction of the columnar terminal, and has a terminal holding hole to which the columnar terminal is inserted and a fitting portion which fits to a counterpart terminal. An in-holding-hole insertion portion which is a portion being present within the terminal holding hole of the columnar terminal is fixed to the terminal holding hole in an airtight state by bringing a surface in close contact with an inner surface of the terminal holding hole. Tensile strength of the fiber-reinforced plastic in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is 45 MPa or more.

The inner protector includes a protector body accommodated in a protector accommodating chamber of the grommet body. The protector body includes a rib on an outer surface of the protector body. Abstract: A communication system includes a seat unit configured to be mounted on a seat of a vehicle and to receive power supply from a battery to operate, and a vehicle unit configured to wirelessly communicate with the seat unit. The vehicle unit includes a determination section configured to determine whether communication with the seat unit is necessary, and a command transmission section configured to transmit to the seat unit a transmission command requesting the seat unit to transmit information on an electronic device mounted on the seat during a period in which the determination section determines that the communication with the seat unit is necessary. The seat unit is configured to transmit the information on the electronic device upon receipt of the transmission command.
Abstract: A wire harness system having a wire harness and a connection unit is provided. The connection unit includes a circuit network configuring a part of circuit lines for realizing selectively added specification in the wire harness. Selection circuit lines of an optional sub-harness branched from the trunk line of the wire harness are connected to the circuit network of the connection unit. Thus, connection or disconnection between the selection circuit lines and switching of connection among branches or the like of the selection circuit lines can be easily realized by changing the circuit network of the connection unit.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an aluminum wire is provided. The aluminum wire includes an inner-layer conductor having one or a plurality of inner-layer alloy wires including aluminum and an outer-layer conductor having a plurality of outer-layer alloy wires including aluminum and provided on the inner-layer conductor.
