Abstract: The present invention relates to a wheel conveyor constructed by installing a wheel assembly, which includes wheels and support plates arranged on both sides and rotatably supporting axles of the wheels, in a groove of a frame material, the wheel conveyor being easily disassembled and cleaned, provided with a damping function, and also provided with a dust-trapping function. Wheels have axle pins, and support plates are provided with pin holes. A wheel assembly is constructed by inserting the axle pins into the pin holes to be rotatably supported. The cross-sectional shape of a frame material is formed such that first groove-like portions formed integrally with lip portions support the support plates to be movable in the longitudinal direction. Bottom groove-like portions formed integrally with a bottom wall are formed to splay more than the edges of the lip portions. The two groove-like portions are integrally jointed to each other through a joint portion.

  • Patent number: 7219699
Abstract: A resin-coated steel pipe is provided having excellent mechanical strength and sliding properties. A double coated structure is formed that extends in the pipe's axial direction and has substantially the same cross section. The structure has a thin steel pipe. Attached to the outer surface thereof is a coating layer with adhesive and an alloy resin. That alloy resin is a mixture of a styrenic resin and a crystalline engineering plastic. Further, formed on the outer surface of the alloy resin in a thickness required for mechanical strength and sliding properties is a crystalline engineering plastic. The resin-coated steel pipe exhibits markedly improved adhesion of the crystalline engineering plastic to the thin steel pipe and thus is free from a fear of the exfoliation of the plastic.

  • Patent number: 6481521
Abstract: An under-cart type guided tractor comprising a frame provided with a driving unit including driving wheels on the underside thereof, the guided tractor being adapted to travel guided by a guide signal sent out from a guide element, such as a magnetic tape laid along a traveling path on a floor surface, and to draw a cart provided with free wheels and loaded with goods, with the guided tractor located under a load-carrying platform of the cart. The frame of the guided tractor has a height that allows the guided tractor to move under the frame of the cart, and a structure that does not allow the vertical load of the cart to act on the guided tractor. The frame of the guided tractor comprises at least two separate frame components that are arranged in line with the travelling direction of the guided tractor and joined by a pin in a manner such that the frame components are allowed to take an upward or downward bent formation.

  • Patent number: 6385050
Abstract: A housing device 100 for plural components that can be arrayed one on top of another includes a support 101 for housing the components on introducing the latter into the support, and a locking unit 102 configured for preventing the components housed in the support 101 from being moved out of the support 101. The housing device 100 also includes a base member 103 having an unlocking support 101 which is adapted to release the state of the locking unit 102 prohibiting the movement of the components housed in the support 101. The components to be housed are usually locked by the locking unit 102. The locked state of the components is established by simply placing the components into the support and is released by the unlocking support 101. A larger number of the components can be housed on top of each other if so desired.

  • Patent number: 5988306
Abstract: An automatically guided vehicle that runs guided by guide signals transmitted from guiding material laid on the floor. The wheels at the four corners of the chassis of the vehicle are casters that can be switched over between free and fixed modes. A steering drive unit which can move by itself in longitudinal direction is mounted on the lower surface of the chassis at approximately the center thereof. Sensors that detect guide signals are provided at the front and rear parts of the steering drive unit. The steering drive unit changes its operating position automatically as the vehicle switches over between forward and backward running modes. The casters change modes in such a manner that, as the automatically guided vehicle switches over between forward and backward running modes, the casters at the front function as free wheels while the casters at the rear function as fixed or pivot-restrained wheels.
