Abstract: A magnetically guided unmanned vehicle system to carry various loads along a guide path of a closed loop which comprises guide path consists of magnetic tape, a magnetic guide type steering drive unit having a magnetic sensor to detect magnetism from said tape and a drive wheel, said steering drive unit having a driving means to drive said drive wheel and a steering means controlled automatically by signals detected by said magnetic sensor, a trolley which has wheels at each of the four corners of the lower surface of a chassis thereof, the front said wheels having a universal casters, and a carriage shelf assembly which has one or a plurality of horizontal automatic roller conveyer(s) as shelves. The magnetically guided vehicle can be constructed by combining the trolley, the steering drive unit and the carriage shelf assembly and the trolley can be used for its original purposes by disassembling such parts.
Abstract: In order to utilize separately steel pipe and coating resin as recycling resources, resin-coated steel pipe, which is produced by adhering a thermo-plastic coating resin on the surface of steel pipe with an adhesive, is heated by high-frequency induction heating to at least the melting temperature of the coating resin, and the coating resin is scraped off while the inner layer thereof is in a melted condition and the outer layer is in a softened condition. Coating resin and steel pipe can be recovered without the composition thereof being damaged. The scraping of coating resin is complete and efficient and requires only minimal energy since it occurs when the inner layer of the coating resin is in a melted condition and the outer layer is in a softened condition.
Abstract: An assembly capable of accommodating casters having a different attaching-bolt pitches to a load carrying wheeler is disclosed, which includes two segmented halves of a pair of sleeves each composed of a mouth to receive therein ends of horizontally spaced tubular crossbeams and segmented halves of a caster-attaching block interposed between each sleeve pair. The blocks have a plurality of elongated bolt holes in the direction perpendicular with the axis of the sleeves, laid out end-to-end, so as to accommodate a range of caster-bolt pitches, and at least a pair of elongated bolt holes in the direction parallel with the sleeves' axis, also provided to accommodate a range of bolt pitches for a caster being attached to the base of the wheeler's rectangular framework. The segmented sleeves are made to slide closer or farther away from each other, so that the spacing of bolt holes across the segments can be adjusted to meet a wide range of caster-bolt pitches.
Abstract: A gravity-feed chute-rack storage system is provided with at least two pairs of longitudinal chute-rack rails in the form of two chute-rack pipes sheathed in a plastic resin material having good sliding properties to form a chute-rack unit. Rail supporting members on at least the front and rear sides among the front, intermediate and rear sides of the chute-rack unit are coupled together with at least one vertical coupling member. Further, a vibrator is fitted to any one of the rail supporting members so as to help stock smoothly slide thereon by transmitting vibrations from the vibrator to each chute-rack rail efficiently via the vertical coupling member and the respective rail supporting members. Accordingly, stock efficiency is made improvable without reducing work efficiency as a result of wasteful moves on the part of workers.
