  • Publication number: 20120223518
Abstract: A method is provided for producing a joint member of a metal joint, such that reduction of assembly manhours and reduction of the thickness and weight can be achieved at the same time without reducing the strength of a product or increasing the cost of production. In the case of a nut-side thin joint member, a metal plate of boron steel obtained by adding boron to low-carbon steel is burred such that the resulting cylindrical body obtains a surface that is sufficient for threading, then a threaded portion having a plurality of threads is formed on that surface, after which, quenching is carried out to increase the strength of the threads so that a nut having sufficient strength can be integrally provided even though the thickness and weight of the joint member are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20110119864
Abstract: A brake-equipped swivel caster including a tired wheel rotatably fitted to a support leg comprises a movable pin allowed to move up and down inside the vertical axial member and normally retained by an elastic member in its uppermost position, left and right brake arms in a pair swingably fitted to the support leg and normally retained by elastic members such that their lower ends are a specified distance apart from the lateral wheel surfaces of the tired wheel, and an operation mechanism arranged over the movable pin. When the operation mechanism pushes down the movable pin a specified distance, a tapered lower end portion of the movable pin causes the brake arms to turn by pushing outward on the upper ends of the brake arms, so that the lower ends of the brake arms are pressed against the lateral wheel surfaces of the tired wheel.

  • Publication number: 20110107554
Abstract: A brake-equipped swivel caster comprises a movable pin allowed to move up and down and normally retained in its uppermost position by an elastic member, and a bifurcated brake member including two downward-extending brake pieces, arranged with its top adjacent to the lower end of the movable pin and rotatably suspended by a horizontal shaft fitted to a tired-wheel support leg at a position off the axis of the movable pin. The brake member is subjected to the force of an elastic member tending to cause the brake member to turn in a direction away from the opposite lateral rim edges of a tired wheel, and is thereby retained in a non-braking condition. When the movable pin pushed down a specified distance pushes on the top of the brake member, the brake member turns so that the two brake pieces are pressed against the opposite lateral rim edges.

  • Publication number: 20100008715
Abstract: The present invention provides a internal pipe joints suitable for connection when pipes used under light-load conditions, or to be more concrete, plastic coated steel pipes having an external diameter ranging from about 28 mm to about 45 mm, which are produced by coating the outer surfaces of thin steel pipes with synthetic resin in a thin layer, are assembled into a planar or three-dimensional pipe structure, and more specifically, relates to pipe joints that have high strength in pipe connection and is excellent in design for having a simple appearance design in the position connecting the pipes.

  • Publication number: 20090317217
Abstract: A conveyance facility system for transporting an appropriate amount of work at a time at an appropriate time to the consumption side area by automatically controlling through a computer control system an automated guided vehicle for allowing a truck that has mounted the work in the supply side area to travel accompanying the vehicle from the supply side area to the consumption side area along the guidance course of the automated guided vehicle, and allowing the empty truck that has unloaded the work in the consumption side area to return to the supply side area. The work conveyance facility system comprises a plurality of work mounting trucks (2) for loading and conveying work, an automated guided vehicle (3) for allowing the work mounting truck (2) to travel accompanying the vehicle to a set position and releasing the truck thereat, and a guidance course of the automated guided vehicle (3).

  • Patent number: 7607527
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wheel conveyor constructed by installing a wheel assembly, which includes wheels and support plates arranged on both sides and rotatably supporting axles of the wheels, in a groove of a frame material, the wheel conveyor being easily disassembled and cleaned, provided with a damping function, and also provided with a dust-trapping function. Wheels have axle pins, and support plates are provided with pin holes. A wheel assembly is constructed by inserting the axle pins into the pin holes to be rotatably supported. The cross-sectional shape of a frame material is formed such that first groove-like portions formed integrally with lip portions support the support plates to be movable in the longitudinal direction. Bottom groove-like portions formed integrally with a bottom wall are formed to splay more than the edges of the lip portions. The two groove-like portions are integrally jointed to each other through a joint portion.

  • Patent number: 7552808
Abstract: A gravity wheel conveyor or roller conveyor is provided capable of braking for moderating and reducing the transfer speed of a relatively lightweight object being transported by using brake wheels or brake rollers, or of brake control for stopping the object being transported at a target position. In the wheel or roller conveyor that is constructed by arranging a plurality of freely rotatable wheels 4 or rollers 10 in the transporting direction of an object, which transports an object being transported 1 by its gravitational operation, one or more selected wheels 4 or rollers 10 are constructed as brake wheels 6 or brake rollers 12 each having an outer circumferential surface onto which a brake material 7 or 11 that is soft and high in its rebound resilience is fixed so as to protrude to form a diameter larger than the outer circumferential surface of each of the wheels or rollers.
