Abstract: A ratchet screwdriver apparatus has a main body, a tubular member connected into the hole of the grip of the main body, a retractable element having an end extending through a through hole of the tubular member, and a positioning mechanism cooperatively connecting the tubular member with the retractable element so as to cause the retractable element to be in a fixed position with respect to the tubular member and in freely movable relationship with the tubular member. The positioning mechanism has a pair of half-mould structures, a ball extending through a tapering slot of the tubular member, a single elastic ring extending around the periphery of the first and second half-mould structures and a control ring extending entirely over the elastic ring.

Abstract: A ratchet screwdriver includes a handle, a main body, a shank, two check plates, a shifter, a position confining plate, and a tubular housing. The check plates are provided with an inclined edge, a reinforcing edge and a protruded edge. The inclined edge is intended to enable the check plates to be effectively actuated by the shifter. The reinforcing edge serves to enhance the structural strength of the check plates. The protruded edge serves to prevent the check plates from displacing. The main body is provided with two protruded ribs to securely position the tubular housing. The position confining plate is provided with two pillars, with one end of the pillars being received in the guided slot of the main body, and with the other end of the pillars being fitted into a recovery spring to enable the position confining plate to return to its original position.

Abstract: A ratchet wrench including a main body, a shaft rod having a protruded pillar and a gear, an insertion plate, two check plates, a dial seat, and a housing. The shaft rod is provided with a skidproof head pivoted thereto. The skidproof head has a toothed hole through which the gear of the shaft rod is positioned. The shaft rod is provided in the midsegment with a rear stepped edge which is slidably disposed in an inner fitting hole of the front segment of the skidproof head. The shaft rod is further confined by a bracing element which is disposed between the rear stepped edge and the toothed hole.

Abstract: A ratchet screwdriver including a ratchet shifter having a dial seat which is concealed by a housing. The dial seat is provided with a bar body and a position confining hole for disposing a tension member. The dial seat is provided at the front end with an urging portion which is juts out of the main body. The main body is provided with a circular rotation member which is provided with a rotating slot corresponding in location to the urging portion of the dial seat. The circular rotation member is provided with a neck portion having an insertion protrusion for pivoting with the main body. The main body is provided in an insertion circular edge with a notch for locating the insertion protrusion.
