Abstract: A communication terminal includes a camera, a reader, a processor, a memory, and a display. The camera is used for capturing an identification mark, located on a tag, which includes a pattern and an identification code mapping the pattern. The reader is used for reading the identification code. The memory stores program instructions executable by the processor. The program instructions include a determining unit, a first setting unit, and an editing unit. The determining unit is used to determine whether the identification code is stored in the memory. The first setting unit is used to choose a predetermined pattern mapping the identification code, when the identification code is not stored in the communication terminal. The editing unit is used to edit a tag data, which includes an object image or an object name. The display is used for displaying the tag data and the predetermined pattern.

Abstract: This invention provides an array antenna for a radio frequency identification (RFID) system, the array antenna comprises a transmission line with a longitudinal span proximately equaling to a height of a space desired to be covered by the array antenna, the transmission line having a terminal coupled to a RFID reader, and a plurality of radiating elements disposed on the first transmission line along the longitudinal span, additionally, reflective materials used behind the array antenna to maximize the illumination in the desired space and absorptive materials installed surrounding the desired space, in order to minimize the illumination of the undesired space surrounding the desired space.

Abstract: This invention provides a shelf antenna system for radio frequency identification (RFID) applications, the shelf antenna system comprises a plurality of substantially horizontal shelves, and a distributed antenna having a single feed terminal and a plurality of radiating elements, the distributed antenna being mounted next to the plurality of substantially horizontal shelves, wherein the entire shelf space of the plurality of substantially horizontal shelves are covered by radiations from the distributed antenna.
