Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to yoga mats. In one example, a yoga mat preserver is disclosed, which includes a perimeter with dimensions substantially similar to a yoga mat, and a thickness substantially less than a thickness of the yoga mat. For this example, at least one component of the yoga mat preserver comprises a moisture absorbent material. In another example, a yoga mat carrier is disclosed, which includes a first end configured to wrap around a circumference of a first end of a rolled yoga mat, and a second end configured to wrap around a circumference of a second end of the rolled yoga mat. The yoga mat carrier further includes a strap in which a first end is attached to the first end of the yoga mat carrier, and a second end is attached to the second end of the yoga mat carrier.
