  • Patent number: 4825399
Abstract: An apparatus for Fourier Transform which achieves a spatial frequency multiplication without involving an increase in the operation time. The apparatus has a memory (MM) for storing data obtained by sampling. The Fourier transform of the data stored in this memory is undertaken by circuitry that performs Fourier transform functions (ADD, MUL, HM1, HM2, TBM) without adding 0's to the data, and is simultaneously written to a plurality of memories (M1, M2, M3, M4) at corresponding relative addresses. A series of addresses is specified through these memories (M1-M4).

  • Patent number: 4817617
Abstract: A diagnostic imaging apparatus is disclosed in which an ultrasonic wave transmit/receive apparatus is used in common for both 2-dimensional B-mode imaging and for measurement of pulsed Doppler signals, by time sharing operation. The good real time characteristics of 2-dimensional B-mode imaging are retained, together with a sufficiently high data rate for pulsed Doppler measurement, through use of simple means for performing interpolation in the Doppler signals Ultrasonic wave transmit/receive means (21,23 to 25,27) repetitively execute combinations of ultrasonic wave transmit/receive sequences, each combination consisting of a plurality of pulsed Doppler mode ultrasonic wave transmit/receive sequences and a single 2-dimensional B-mode imaging ultrasonic wave transmit/receive sequence. Demodulator means (38 to 41) demodulate the Doppler signals, based on the received signals that are acquired during the pulsed Doppler mode ultrasonic wave transmit/receive sequences.

  • Patent number: 4803486
Abstract: An improved matrix switch circuit comprising an array of analog switches disposed in the form of a matrix and one or more control memories for storing control signals which cause their respective switches of the array to open or close. An interface is provided between the control memories and the array of the switches. The interface receives the control signals from the control memories and holds them. The held signals are then supplied to the switches of the array. While the switches of the array are being controlled according to the control signals held in the interface, the contents of the control memories can be changed at any desired instant.

  • Patent number: 4730262
Abstract: A display method in a computer tomographic apparatus is disclosed wherein a plurality of bar graphs representing the scanning schedule are generated on a display. The bar graph depicts the scanning time extending one distance and the margin time extending a second distance at a smaller width. When the scanning is taking place, signals are generated to plot over the scanning bar graph during the scanning time and plot over the margin bar graph during the margin time. The scanning time and margin time bar graphs adjoin one another and are distinguishable by the margin time extending from the scanning bar at a narrower width. This configuration allows an operator to readily determine at a glance the scanning step and progress thereof.

  • Patent number: 4719509
Abstract: The invention provides a video data interpolation apparatus which can readily produce a number of data sets by interpolation. The apparatus comprises some pairs of buffer memories and an interpolation circuit, the two buffer memories of each pair alternately temporarily storing data sets regarding an image, the data sets being given successively. The currently incoming data is written bit by bit to one buffer memory of first pair and also to one buffer memory of second pair. In step with this writing operation, the immediately previous data set is read from the other memory of the second pair. Then, data sets are interpolated between the data set read from the other memory of the second pair and the currently incoming data set, based on these two data sets. The data sets obtained by interpolation are written to one buffer memory of third pair and also to each one buffer memory of subsequent pair or pairs.
