Abstract: The invention discloses a cable connector assembly and method for manufacturing the same, the cable connector assembly includes a cable; a first connector and a second connector, the first connector includes a first plug, the first plug is inserted in the first port, the first plug is electrically connecting the cable via a printed circuit board; the second connector includes a second plug, the second plug is inserted in the second port, the second connector is assembled onto the first connector, the second plug is not electrically connecting with the second port. The second connector is assembled onto the first connector, therefore, the second connector plays the function of fixing the first connector, the cable connector assembly is less likely to be shaken or loosened during use, and the electrical connection between the first connector and the first port is more stable.

Abstract: A cable connector assembly and the manufacturing method thereof are disclosed in the invention. The cable connector assembly includes a plug connector including a conductive module and a metal casing having a fixing and a mating section; a printed circuit board being electrically connected to the plug connector and a cable assembly which includes a wire retainer, wires, and an insulating layer; an inner casing being insert-molded onto the printed circuit board, the wire retainer, and the fixing section; a stress releasing element being insert-molded onto the insulating layer and partially onto the inner casing; and an outer casing being insert-molded onto the inner casing and partially onto the stress releasing element. The cable connector assembly is produced without the pin, no pin holes will be formed on the outer casing. The cable connector assembly is easy to produce and aesthetically pleasing and can meet stricter requirement of the client.

Abstract: A cable connector and method of assembling the same is disclosed. The cable connector comprises a conductive body including an insulative housing and a plurality of terminals, a mating port being defined in the front of the conductive body, and the mating connector being plugged into the mating port; a front shell surrounding the conductive body; a cover being fastened with the front shell, wherein, a cable assembly including a plurality of wires and a rear insulative housing, the wires being electrically connecting with the terminals, the rear insulative housing being insert-molded in a cavity formed by the cover. The rear insulative housing is insert-molded in the cavity formed by the cover, thus the cable connector has a simpler structure. Besides, the cover is fastened with the front shell, with no need to be soldered with each other, which results a simplified manufacturing process to reduce the cost.

Abstract: A plug comprises a plurality of top contacts embedded in a top insulator, a shielding sheet, a plurality of bottom contacts embedded in a bottom insulator, a front insulator configured to receive every cantilever of the contacts, and a front conductive shell including a base and a sheath. The top insulator, the bottom insulator and the front insulator are coupled together while the shielding sheet is wedged between the top insulator and the bottom insulator. The base protrudes outward to form a shoulder between the base and the sheath. The sheath substantially fits closely around the front insulator. The front insulator has a front edge concaved backward while the sheath has a front edge convexed backward in order to engage with the front edge of the front insulator.

Abstract: A receptacle comprises a tongue, a plurality of top contacts, a grounding piece and a conductive shell. The tongue is integrated into a printed circuit board. The top contacts are spaced apart along a top row on the tongue and include a pair of top grounding contacts respectively located at both sides of the top row. The grounding piece sequentially has a tail mounted onto the printed circuit board, a base attached to a rear portion of the tongue, a top shielding pad located behind the top contacts and two arms respectively constituting both sides of the tongue. The grounding contacts are respectively located on top surfaces of the two arms. The conductive shell is coupled to the base and surrounds the tongue and the grounding piece.
