Patent number: 12156761Abstract: The systems and methods perform Bayesian anatomically-driven, artificial-intelligence based intracardiac echocardiography object detection and prediction. The system proposes hypotheses for what features and objects are in view based on prior knowledge informed by previously acquired or generated models. During a cardiac interventional procedure, the system uses a per-frame object identification artificial intelligence (AI); the gathered data is analyzed within a Bayesian framework to create updated posterior prediction(s) of what feature(s) may be predicted (with a computed confidence level) to be in view and their respective location(s). Inferences that pass an accept/reject threshold for object identification and meet minimum threshold settings for temporal stability and spatial location are used to display labels and boundaries. The system predicts what features and objects are in-frame, where out-of-frame objects/features may be located, and how to navigate to them.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2024Date of Patent: December 3, 2024Assignee: yoR Labs, Inc.Inventor: Anshumali Roy

Patent number: 12138123Abstract: Systems and methods for visualizing two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D), and four-dimensional (4D) ultrasound images generated by an ultrasound device are disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes displaying a display state selection on a user interface of a display screen in communication with a computing device, the display state selection indicating to receive 2D or 3D images. The method further includes receiving, from the user interface, a display state user selection indicating to generate 2D or 3D images. The method further includes, in response to receiving the display state user selection, controlling the ultrasound device to generate ultrasound images of the selected display state and communicate the generated ultrasound images to the computing device. The method further includes displaying the received ultrasound images on a portion of the display screen.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2021Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: yoR Labs, Inc.Inventors: Oliver C. Patent number: 11832991Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting features in ultrasound images and delineating boundaries that representative of the detected features. A method can include determining a boundary of a feature in a displayed ultrasound image, determining a closed polygon that represents the feature based on the boundary, and determining information of the feature using the dimensions of the closed polygon. The ultrasound image and graphical representations of the feature (e.g., the boundary, the closed polygon) can be displayed in a user interface on a touch screen display. The method can include receiving user input indicative of a location of the feature, and adjusting the feature boundary and closed polygon based on user input. The method can also include determining an area and/or a perimeter of the feature based on the closed polygon.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2021Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: yoR Labs, Inc.Inventors: Matthew C. Morrise, Oliver C. Johnson-Terleski

Patent number: 11751850Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling contrast and time gain compensation (TGC) with a unified control. A system can include a first non-transitory computer storage medium for storing an ultrasound image, a second non-transitory computer storage medium for storing computer-executable instructions, and a computer hardware configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to at least cause presentation of the ultrasound image on a user interface of a display device using an initial contrast value for the ultrasound image and an initial time gain compensation value for at least two bands in the ultrasound image, each band being a portion of the displayed ultrasound image corresponding to a range of distances from an ultrasound scanner that generated the ultrasound image, and generate and cause display of a unified contrast/TGC (UTGC) control bar on the user interface for adjusting contrast and TGC of the displayed ultrasound image.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2021Date of Patent: September 12, 2023Assignee: yoR Labs, Inc.Inventors: Matthew C. Patent number: 11704142Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a built-in training capability for a computer application associated with multiple operations. A control icon may be presented along with an image associated with the particular computer application. The control icon may list training tasks that are associated with the particular computer application or the particular image and train a user in performing a particular operation. Based upon a user interaction with the control icon, a training task may be implemented. The training task may comprise multiple steps or actions required to complete the task. The training task may cause a written description of each action and a training icon to be presented to the user. The training task may therefore assist the user in performing the operation associated with the training task.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2021Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: YOR LABS, INC.Inventor: Matthew C. Morrise

Patent number: 11547386Abstract: Systems and methods of ultrasound imaging of an object that includes multiple depth zones. Each of the zones can be imaged using a different frequency, or the same frequency as another zone. A method includes imaging a first zone using plane wave imaging, imaging a second zone using tissue harmonic imaging, and imaging a third zone using fundamental and subharmonic deep imaging. The depth of each zone can vary based on the ultrasonic array, and correspondingly, the F # used for imaging the zone. In an example, zones can be imaged at different F #'s, for example, at F #1 for the first zone, at F #2, F #3, or F #6 for one or more zones that extend deeper into the object than the first zone. The method can also include forming an image based on the received signals from the multiple zones, and blending the transitions between the zones.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2021Date of Patent: January 10, 2023Assignee: YOR LABS, INC.Inventors: Anshumali Roy, Chung Ping Cheung, Clark D.
