  • Patent number: 9688488
Abstract: A metering feeder is provided with the following: an annular transport space formed by an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and a bottom plate; a central rotating blade provided on a rotating shaft in the center of the bottom plate; an outer rotating ring connected to the tip of the central rotating blade; a plurality of outer rotating blades provided on the outer rotating ring so as to point inwards; and a rotating disc in which a powder/granular-material discharge groove is formed, the top surface of said rotating disc lying in the same plane as the top surface of the bottom plate. The outer rotating blades scrape the powder/granular material in the annular-transport space into the powder/granular-material discharge groove, which transports said powder/granular material outside the outer cylinder. This metering feeder is further provided with a vertically-movable scraper for supplying large amounts of the powder/granular material and a fixed small scraper for supplying small amounts thereof.

  • Patent number: 9441882
Abstract: In a gas feeding apparatus for a powder and granular material feeder, in which a powder and granular material 3 supplied to an upper portion tubular hopper 11 is continuously supplied and discharged downward by a powder and granular material feeder provided below the tubular hopper 11, a first feed port 20 for a gas is provided in an upper surface 1a of a bottom plate 1? on a lower surface of a boss portion for a set of rotary blades 8 of the powder and granular material feeder so that the gas can be fed to a space S between the upper surface 1a of the bottom plate 1? of the powder and granular material feeder and the lower surface of the boss portion. Further, an annular damming plate 22 is formed on the lower surface of the boss portion on the outer side of the first feed port 20 so that the gas fed into the space S through the first feed port 20 can be fed in a radial direction into the powder and granular material feeder via slits 23, 24 provided around the annular damming plate 22.

  • Patent number: 7886938
Abstract: A powder and granular material feeder constantly feeding powder and granular material with poor fluidity that is discharged to an annular passage between inner and outer tubes through a clearance between a lower end of the inner tube and a bottom plate from a fall opening, outside of the feeder, by scraping plates immediately below the fall opening. The fall opening has an arcuate configuration starting on an outer side of the outer tube to the inner tube or to an inner side of the inner tube. The scraping plates are located on a small cylinder around the center of curvature. The scraping plates and spokes rotate in opposite directions from each other at a portion of the fall opening, and the powder and granular material transferred by the spokes and inward claws into the fall opening is discharged in a direction opposite to the feeding direction and leveled by an lower edge of the outer tube.

  • Publication number: 20110000938
Abstract: The present invention provides a powder material supply device, wherein a powder and/or granular material supplied to an inner cylinder 4 is pushed outward through a gap G by rotation of a rotary blade 8 and discharged from an outlet 18, the outlet 18 being arranged to satisfy the relation of L1?G×(1/tan X°) (wherein X° is an angle of response of the powder and/or granular material), with the shortest distance from the outer end of outlet 18 to a point directly below the inner circumference of the inner cylinder 4 on the bottom plate 2a being L1 (mm), and the dimension of the gap being G (mm). With such a powder material supply device, a fixed amount of powder and/or granular material mixing two or more kinds of powder and/or granular material can be supplied while suppressing a fluctuation in the content ratio.
