Abstract: A family of platinum complexes which are stable and exhibit anticancer activity.

Abstract: Disclosed is an anti-tumor liposoluble platinum (IV) complexes having Formula I, a Formula VI or a Formula XII. Because these complexes have liposoluble groups, they are effective for various internal organ tumors or cancers.

Abstract: Novel platinum(II)-steroid complexes are now provided, which exhibit antitumor activities as shown by tests on mouse leukemia, L-1210 cells in mice. These novel platinum(II)-steroid complexes contain a 1,2-cyclohexanediamine, a 2-(aminomethyl)cyclohexylamine, an ethylenediamine or NH.sub.3 --groups as a ligand or ligands.

Abstract: New platinum (IV) complexes are now provided, which exhibit antitumor activity as shown by the tests on mouse leukemia, L-1210 cell in mice. These new platinum (IV) complexes contain 1,2-cyclohexanediamine or 2-(aminomethyl)cyclohexyl-amine as a ligand.

Abstract: New platinum(II)-flavin complexes are now provided, which exhibit antitumor activities as shown by tests on mouse leukemia, L-1210 cells in mice. These novel platinum(II)-flavin complexes contain a 1,2-cyclohexanediamine, a 2-(aminomethyl)cyclohexylamine, an ethylenediamine or NH.sub.3 -- groups as a ligand or ligands.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel complex compounds of platinum showing an antitumor activity, represented by the formula(I): ##STR1## wherein one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents a group selected from the group consisting of (1) glucuronato groups whose hydroxyl groups may be acylated, (2) gluconato groups whose hydroxyl groups may be acylated, (3) pyruvato group and (4) nitrato group, and the other of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents a group selected from the group consisting of (i) glucuronato groups whose hydroxyl groups may be acylated, (ii) gluconato groups whose hydroxyl groups may be acylated, (iii) pyruvato group and (iv) halogen atoms, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.

Abstract: New platinum complex represented by the general formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are same and represent halogen atom or NO.sub.3,orR.sub.1 is SO.sub.4 and R.sub.2 is H.sub.2 O,orR.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are bonded with each other to form either ##STR2## and the configuration of 1-aminomethyl-2-aminocyclohexane is selected from trans-1, trans-d, cis-1 and cis-d.The compounds of the formula [I] are active against tumor and are expected to be useful as medicaments.
